This is what true advancement/"equality" looks like: The so-called Third World reciprocating the assistance they've been given by Post-Industrial nations. I'm being completely serious, not sarcastic

They are all getting cold over there, not just norway. Lack or gas, heating oil, electricity. I watched some news piece from europe, they have prepaid electricity, you stick a card into the meter, and you get electricity. If you dare to call this bs, I will find that video, I swear. Basically if you usually would consider normal winter temperature inside to be around 75F, they turned it down to 60F, 22C and 16C, something like that, to save resources.

Their plastic bottles are made of recycled crap. You take bottle into hand and it's like it has no plastic in it.
It could be a chore to find one time use spoons and forks and plates.

So they are getting cold in norway. No wood, no gas, no heating oil, can't kill whale for oil. Green. Gotta save the planet.

I have never seen this. While it's obviously satire it would be more helpful if it was to pay for electricity, I spend several radiators worth on electricity for heating every winter. Although this video was made in a time where electricity was much cheaper than it is now.

This is not true for Norway at least. We have meters that digitally report the consumption automatically which is then billed. Another fun fact, if for whatever reason you don't pay the electricity bill it's illegal by law for the provider to shut off electricity to your house during winter.

I know literally nobody who set the temperature that low.

This one is true.

Gas isn't common, but plenty of people burn wood or oil for heating still. We're also one of the few countries who still kill whales at all and refuse to stop doing it.
