I don't know how common this is, but women in their 40s and 50s, and even older ones, often compliment me with phrases like "how handsome you are," "how handsome he is," "he's a handsome boy," "where do girls get their eyes?" "what beautiful eyes," and "you look good," among others.

Girls my age just stare at me, give side glances, smile, and often touch me or flirt, but they rarely say the things I hear from older women. They mostly stare or look at me.

Basically, about 80% of the adult women I meet give me a compliment, which makes me wonder if I'm really handsome or if there's something about me that makes them feel they need to "console" me.

Does something like this happen to you too?

Older women frequently speak to younger men as if they're their kids. Ain't uncommon

What does that even mean?
You could not convince me anybody's ever actually said this.
Sorry, but this didn't translate well..
Meaning it's like the women are blind.

Yes this is what I've noticed.
But also noticed that since they're older now, they can say things since no one will judge them for?

No, you will always be judged. Except, when you get older, you don't care about judgmental people's opinions.

I read somewhere that young women feel judged or at least obliged to not reveal their attraction to men so as not to be seen as anything other than "sluts".

But this thing falls apart when they are older because they no longer have this form of "being judged" in their heads.

Surely this behavior will have a name. @AmsterdamAssassin And I'm sure you know it

Life's too short. On the other hand, valid criticism always merits consideration.
