Its 2024. What brands and styles of jeans do you recommend?

Gap jeans are good; Old Navy ideal if you are on a budget. Banana Republic if you are balling.

I like them straight. Get whatever is comfortable for you and medium wash since it is more versatile since you can dress it up or down.

Believe it or not, but different brands look better on some body shapes than others.
For instance, are you tall and skinny with a flat bootie? Then my friend, Levi's are for you. However, if you have a little more junk in your trunk, Believe it or not, Wrangler was made for you.
Seriously, go try some different brands on.
Is Lucky Jean's still a thing?

Doing ok. I have had a rough few years since 2020 with marriage issues and lost some family members and friends so that brought me back to here and some other support groups

I used to swear by Levi (and still own a lot of Levis). That being said, the quality of Levis has gone down through the years (I'm more impressed with my older Levis than my newer Levis)

Amazon brand jeans are good. I own a decent amount. Seriously, Amazon brand is much better than it sounds.

I also have a pair of Old Navy jeans I bought in 2016. The fact they're still holding up says it all.

My old jeans are also better quality to this flimsy material that is on the market today. Nothing is made to last anymore.

Every brand has different models and sub-sects. I like 7 For All Mankind - Austyn and Lucky Brand straight coolmax. Granted, I have treetrunks for thighs and muscular calves; so I need the extra room in these areas.

Many of the brands are going towards the soy boy types with the tight jeans with no form. If that's your build, go for it. However, if you have muscle's or do not like tight clothing; they are not going to be comfortable.

I ended up getting some Banana Republic jeans. They are quite comfortable, then i looked in my previous jeans and saw i had a pair as well from one waist size larger. I'll definitely be trying out some different jeans. Upgrading my wardrobe bit by bit. Feels good to get some new shirts, shoes and pants.

I don’t care much about the brands as the style of the jeans.

All mine have come from TJ Maxx, they also have cheap moisturizers.

I did a pretty major wardrobe overhaul when I was 25 (am currently 33)

Up until then, a lot of the clothes I wore were more appropriate for a high schooler. I dress like a grown man now (although some say I've gone too far in the opposite direction...and started dressing older than my age)

Can't speak much about brand as all my jeans are different brands, some of which I haven't even checked.

As of looks, I just think a regular pair of good ol' blue jeans with the (muscular) quads filling out the thighs while loose below around the calves is a great look and will place you high on the manliness score, especially paired with a thin waist/flat stomach. Also, have the shirt tucked in and have it be regular to tight-fitting as well to make the legs stand out more, remember women ain't much different than men when it comes to which body parts they find the most appealing.
