I used to resent having to pay for female company but as I enter into my 40s I am softening my stance a bit.

I had a very good date the other night with a cute curvy girl in her early 20s. East European, has a good entry level job, but likes the finer things in life such as dinners, drinks, shows, holidays etc. It was pretty clear what I was getting myself in for when she rejected my initial idea of a pub and wanted a ****tail bar or something like mezze. But as she is much younger than the girls I usually date curiosity got the better of me so I figured I could invite her for one drink enjoy the view and if things weren't progressing bail.

But she was actually very charming. She was a good conversationalist, seemed interested in what I had to say and asked thoughtful questions, and was holding my hand from across the table and smiling and touching up her makeup a lot etc. I was having such a good time I didn't mind when she wanted another ****tail and then wanted to go somewhere for dinner and as we walked she linked arms with me and pressed herself against me. At dinner we sat next to each other and shared mezze and she cosied up to me. She wanted wine with dinner and very few nice restaurants are cheap these days. But I was having a good time.

And I compare this to my experience with girls my age. They usually do not drink as much and aren't brazen enough to demand dinner so early dates tend to be drinks. But the attractive ones generally still expect you to pay for drinks and while they are nice to look at they are cold, distant, disinterested and either give you the cold shoulder or only very grudgingly let you kiss them or paw them. And because they are serial daters they rarely date any man more than once or twice and just aren't fun to spend time with at all! And they tend to be very self-obsessed and pretentious and entitled and obnoxious.

Anyone else figured older woman aren't worth it and happy to just pay for the company of younger women and enjoyed the ride?
And any tips on keeping the expenses down (while accepting that it isn't going to be cheap).

She saw you're an older guy so she thought ... he has money, has little to no options, is desperate.
And here you are telling us how good of a conversationalist she is and that she asks good questions ... how pathetic is that?

What I figured is that paying for any woman to feign interest in me (either be it over dinner or online via OF) is ridiculous, demeaning and emasculating.

Now that you mention it, I realize it's a common behavior among chicks, regardless of their age.

At least 50% of the girls I've dated between the ages of 19 and 28 have exhibited this behavior, especially those aged 25-28.

The younger girls, around 19 or 20, have been by far the most feminine.

Sometimes I'm lucky enough to see their true selves on the first date, so I just pump and dump them. I think it's a great indicator of who they are and their level of interest.

I had imagined that women over 30 would be less likely to exhibit that bitter behavior you mentioned, especially since their biological clock is ticking. They need us more than we need them.

In any case, it's to be expected. As I've already said in this community, the more they see, the less their hearts beat.

I just make 'em dinner. Nothing like a home cooked meal to warm the c0ckles of a young Central / Eastern European woman's heart.

And after that I take them up to the lair.

IMO it's all situational.

However IME, In general, older women either want "princess" treatment, or they are cool with just banging it out and that's it. Personally I've dated my share of older women this summer, and after some cringe experiences won't be dating older women again soon (outside of the current plates I have).

As i mentioned older women have higher expectations to be "wined and dined" than younger ones. The young chicks I have dated tend to be ok with Chiptole or home cooked meals lmfao

Maybe if they are significantly older than you, but I think if a woman is interested in you, her 'demands' tend to diminish. One of the things I hear a lot from women is 'usually, I want things to happen so-and-so' to which I mostly shrug and say, 'this will be unusual for you then'. I don't cater to their wishes, in most cases their wishes tend to adapt to the situation if they're emotionally invested.

You are over complicating stuff

D!ck and water.
That is all you give.

If the girl is into you, there is no need for magic tricks. Leave that to street artists.

I once had a four-month fling with a woman from Match.com about fifteen years ago. Our first “date” was a conversation in her basement. She said was impressed with my intellectual conversation and that if I kept talking she’d have to blow me.

Cost: the gas for a ten-minute car ride.

The key to Wine&DineMaxxing is to only do it with chicks that you can determine appreciate you.

And what did you get for all this extra money you spent?

If you only got blue balls, what was the point?

Could have just as easily taken her for a walk and talk in the park or to see a waterfall or something else that would have cost zero dollars.

The idea that you need to spend money to have a woman like you is simply a wrong premise to start with and when you start with a wrong premise you always reach a wrong conclusion.

If she likes you, she won't care what you are doing as long as she gets to spend time with you.

This is just another way of pedastalization called something different.

Totally agree the women in my experience that tend to become girlfriends or stick around the longest I don't have to do a whole lot. Yes I will still take a girl out to eat, or order door dash or some stuff but I'm talking having to take her on trips, wine and dine her every date etc
