I guess it just looks weak or unmasculine. It depends on the tone, if it's too supplicating, and how you are overall with her. If you come across strong then it's okay. However, if you are already weak around her, then it might be too supplicating, especially if she provoked you to offend her by disrespect.

Agree. If you really did something wrong, and you really regret your actions... apologize. If she accepts your apology, then fine... if she doesn't don't grovel just move on. If she is really interested, she will forgive you, if not... well your actions are just going to be her excuse to get rid of you... take the hint and move on.

I agree with everyone here about being accountable with one's actions and apologizing only if you did something wrong. Again, if I person is unattracted to you, they might think you are trying to gather unwarranted sympathy by saying sorry and they might find you pathetic. However, if they are attracted to you they my think is cute, vulnerable, etc.

However, in a grand scheme of things, there is a reason why politicians never apologize. Apologies are often seen as admissions of guilt and can lead to more criticism for public figures, as they confirm the original complaints. Supporters might also feel betrayed, making the apology counterproductive. Overall, apologizing rarely improves one's public image.

Only apologise if you mean it, not because you feel like you should or when someone coerces you. Never say you're sorry when you're not sorry. An insincere apology isn't worth the breath it takes to speak it.

Apologies should be reserved for those times when you know that you have genuinely fvcked up. Women often try to gaslight men and to make them feel guilty (and apologize) for things that are either trivial or aren't their fault. It's a form of manipulation. So yes, you should probably apologize if she catches you having sex with her sister. But you shouldn't apologize over insignificant nonsense.
