Here is some knowledge and wisdom I have accumulated throughout the years, of meeting people with high level of success, through personal experiences and through different impacts in my life.

Read it, and implement.
  • There is a set of intangibles that you must possess if you want to be successful.
  • To get what you want in life you have to deserve what you want, the world is not yet enough a crazy enough place to reward a bunch of undeserving people.
  • You can't trick your way into success.
  • Does the person you are looking up to have a set of intangibles that you are looking for?
  • Are you increasing your deserving factor every day?
  • Are you worth more today than you were worth yesterday?
  • If someone else tells you someone is great because someone else told him that then that's called the greater sucker theory.
  • Spend each day trying to be a little wiser than you were when you woke up.
  • Step by step you get head but not necessarily in fast spurts. But you build discipline when you prepare for fast spurts.
  • Slag it out one inch at a time, day by day. At the end of the day, if you live long enough, you will get what you deserve.
  • To find out if something is true flip it around (Inverse). If you were the kid that people where to bet on, then flip it around and ask ur self: who you would not bet on? Which kid would you not bet on and why?
  • If you go to college there is going to be a certain result and is going to be off-set by some downsides. If you don't go to college there will be some downsides also to that and some upsides, it's not so black and white.
  • When you are not practicing someone else is, and when you meet them you will lose.
  • Take the destiny in your own hands, increase your deserving factor, go to bed smarter.
  • How many books are you reading? (1 a year? 1 a month?) That's not enough, where is your dedication from what you want in life?
  • You have to learn to love the grind.
  • The way to increase your deserving factor are two things, injection of knowledge and wisdom into your brain, remove all of ignorance in-and-out.
  • Jenifer Lopez may not have the best voice but she has the whole package. Not everyone makes it and most people get out-hustled.
  • There is no end goal in life. Life is as you live it.
  • If you have certain beliefs find out what they are and if they are not true, get rid of them.
  • Surround yourself with people who do not always say yes to what you are doing.
  • Nobody deserves anything. You are not entitled to anything.

This is a good list, just to add to it here are a few of my observations
  • Willing to take risks and bet on themselves. There are many super talented and intelligent people who are never willing to do this part and are more comfortable in a career and retirement plan, often times a high paying one.
  • Extreme belief in themselves that they can overcome any issue or at least mitigate the downside. Even if they fail this belief keeps them from not trying at all.
  • Use Negative outcomes as fuel or a lesson to change and adjust. Often times biggest wins come after biggest losses.
  • Consistency and grit over the long term. We all get kicked in the nuts, how you respond and react is what is important.
  • Good problem solvers
  • Focused on owning and building assets, especially a business. Not a guaranteed and risk is involved, but there is so quicker way to amass wealth than building a successful business.
  • Good at Sales. This applies to all aspects of life whether you are selling yourself, a product or your business.
  • Delayed gratification.
  • You need to develop two skillsets over the long term. The first is to increase your income, whether that is through a skill or business. This needs to be your first priority. When you do achieve a high income you then need to learn how to manage and invest your money whether that is through investing, stocks, RE etc. Both require a high level of time commitment, experience and skill
  • Invests/saves 25% plus of income. Only time you may be able to get around this is if you build a business and have a large exit.
  • Decisive. Indecision is sometimes worse than the wrong decision. Take action and figure it out.

I believe points 2 and 3 are false and one can easily observe this.

I think you'd be surprised how different the workings of each billionaire's mind may be from each other. It's such a small sample size that a certain degree of randomness of almost certainly skew the statistical significance of the results. The fact of the matter is there is a high degree of luck when you're talking about that level of success.

I think you'd find a lot more correlation in the minds of people with net worths between $50 -$250 million to the points you make than you would amongst billionaires, but I know that's not you're point.

I think I'd boil your points down to two major themes: Having a high degree of grit, as well as intentionally aiming upward in a meaningful and calculated manner.

The Forbes ranking of billionaires all have a common theme in the top 10. Every one of them founded a business that became a stunning success. Your list doesn't mention founding a business. A path to $1 billion NW seems unrealistic without significant ownership of a start up.

This thread is on how billionaires think not how to become one.

Of-course starting a business or any venture is the step one.

This observation voids most others. Clownworld. Large corps and gov prove this. Meritocracy seldom exists.
