Got booted from Hinge a few years back. I still don’t know why and they never said. Just logged in one day and it said I violated their terms of service.

I set up a new account a few months ago. Mostly hits from low-quality women (4’s and 5’s). Got a few hits on messages I sent and met one that resulted in a one and done about 2 months ago. Was chatting with a woman a couple weeks ago. She contacted me. She was maybe a HB6. We did have a good online exchange about 80s metal bands but I was largely unenthused about meeting her. I got busy with work and was sick for a few days so I stopped replying. Tapped my Hinge icon a few days ago and found out I was banned. My crime: taking too long to reply because I had other commitments and wasn’t feeling well. What a bunch of f*cking morons.

I Googled the issue and MANY people have gotten the boot for literally no reason. Some good Reddit forums about it. Some had success reporting Hinge to the BBB. They got their accounts back but now suspect they’re shadow accounts where you don’t show up in searches and members don’t get your messages.

Women, especially older ones, are so F'ing vengeful and spiteful they will report you now for…not replying fast enough.

I also learned because Match Inc. owns Hinge, POF, Match.com, and Tinder, once you’re banned from one you have a lifetime ban from all platforms. Yes, there are workarounds, but what’s the point anymore.

Dating in 2024 (and I’ve dated for decades) is a 100% absolute s*it show in its purest form. And I blame women for creating 90% of it for obvious reasons.

Thought I’d share and see if anyone else has experienced this recently.

Ciao,
Dash

I wonder why anyone who has been a member of this forum for more than 6 months, let alone 18yrs as OP, would still register on swipe apps. That's like someone who has been for years on a trading forum opening accounts with dodgy brokers located on some island in the middle of the ocean and then complaining their accounts have been frozen and they can't access their money. Or someone on a business forum complaining that the manager of a burger joint who already has a bad reputation regarding treatment of employees holds back on paying the minimum wage they've been working for.

The only real solution is to stop wasting time on those apps. Why are women to blame if guys, out of their own free will, would rather spend time and money chatting with 4s and 5s, instead of minding their own business?

You want to waste time with mindless chatter? Install ChatGPT. You want to fvck a 4 or a 5? Go to your nearest brothel or escort agency. It's as simple as that.

Yo, calm down bro.

Swipe apps are an augment to an overall dating strategy. Plus, as you mature (I'm over 40) you simply don't attend house parties like in your 20s or even other social functions as much. Your social circle naturally shrinks and your overall prospects for meeting new people get far more limited. You'll understand when you reach that point. So in the meantime, maybe before coming across as being judgmental of another person's situation - as you have demonstrated - get all the facts.

Good day.

I agree. Also with the age thing. If your in your prime like 25-35 with a business, healthy mind and healthy body with friends and a good social circle I would stay of the apps aswell.

I do have to say some of my best relationships with women came from a dating app and I was on it only for a week or two. Mostly the best quality girls you meet at school (old days) and randomly, mall, supermarket, car wash, or an event. You should do more outgoing stuff like that where you can talk about the mutual interest with the women at the gathering.

My colluege met his hb9 woman on a dating app their married and the perfect couple in my eyes.

I am fit and have a millions turnover business that makes me a great living. I’m also very outgoing and confident so I don’t do dating apps. I find my women on parties and like I said on the streets but if it’s necessary I get back on apps. I advise everyone to fight to be the best version of theirselves. Raise your smv always on the grind

I kind of feel embarrassed to be on a dating app because my city is small and I have a big network, so I see loads of women I either know because of festivals bars or actually talked to them or some even dated. It says something about you. Meaning your still single and have no options that you linger on apps. Like I said again if have to I would.

This CAN happen, if(As is the carr with so many of us)one pulls into himself, and we stop "putting ourselves out there". What you describe though is far from inevitable... The miracle of Meetup.com and the like gives us opportunities to expand our social circles far more easily than was the case even at the beginning of The 10s. Hell, a man can even start his own gathering of enthusiasts for any activity he so desires

Focus on expanding and strengthening your social network more generally. Meeting high quality women are an inevitable byproduct of doing so

Gotta stay away from the shorties, Dash, they are the worst. 5'3" is my limit, under that is a no-go. Short girl (toxic) energy is a real thing.

Also the women who initiate the convo tend to be more difficult on average as well - they don't have enough dudes hitting them up or something?

You just have to put a bit more charm in there, you silver-tongued devil.

Oh, bummer. Really, those apps are only good for hookups and rope models.

Yep it sucks, those apps aren't what they used to be.

Find new ponds to fish in. Thats all a man can do.

Country dance halls and concerts have been working for me. Hotter women, more of them, and less b.s. to go thru.

Sometimes my brother, life tries to take one thing away from you so you can receive new shyte.

What would you do if there were no dating apps? Roll over and die? Or go out into the trenches and make it a real scuffle ?

A man can and must be in the game untill his 60's, no excuses ( and I say that with love).

The excellent Connor Beaton offers first-rate guidance on how to do so

Not just men, but our entire nation could benefit from in-person gatherings of everyday guys, with a no-sense commitment to promoting self-empowerment. In concrete, tangible ways

Yes the apps are bull**** but you are correct that as you get older there are less and less opportunities.

There are less guys to go out with to the bars, and even there it is a bit cringey to be hanging around a "young" crowd.

I don't know what the answer is unfortunately, in person interactions are dwindling by the day.

Says the 34-year old.
I'm a lot older than you lot and drowning in opportunities I don't need to take because I'm have enough sex already.

This is the problem, moving in the wrong circles. Only the immature hang around teenagers.
