In highschool, even while I was still an AFC in learning, I remember giving a handshake to one of the natural chads. He corrected me by saying "if you're gonna shake my hand, do it properly and make sure the thumbs latch onto eachother."
But nowadays, dudes give each other fist bumps. The way I see it, fist bumps are given by bosses and owners to their lowly employees. I can understand being at a gathering and then having to leave right away and giving quick fist bumps to your homies before heading out, but...fist bumps during greetings just irks me.
Proper hand shake at minimum to the men you respect. When I'm seeing my boys, it's ALWAYS a handshake followed by the millennial bro hug.
