According to Match, nearly half of singles said their ideal sexual situation right now would be a “committed, exclusive relationship,” and two in three singles said they prefer to wait till the third date before having sex.

Men are actually quicker to catch feels than women, with 53 percent of guys saying they can feel an emotional connection after two dates, compared to just 38 percent of women. Men are also feeling more pressure to settle down than their female counterparts, with 24 percent feeling social pressure to find a relationship compared to 17 percent of women.

Men are wired via their DNA to pursue s*x. No amount of dating apps or social media will change that. What HAS changed IMO is the quality of women they're pursuing and how hard it is to get a decent looking woman to have s*x with the average guy. Most women aren't worth the effort to pursue when you consider your time, $, head games, and the fact they're likely dating 5 other guys. We all know any average looking woman will have 100's of messages in her inbox by lunchtime if she fires up a dating app, so why should she settle for an average guy? I wouldn't.

What HAS changed IMO is the quality of women they're pursuing and how hard it is to get a decent looking woman to have s*x with the average guy. Most women aren't worth the effort to pursue when you consider your time, $, head games, and the fact they're likely dating 5 other guys. We all know any average looking woman will have 100's of messages in her inbox by lunchtime if she fires up a dating app, so why should she settle for an average guy?

This is exactly what's going on in the mating environment. It's getting more and more difficult for middle range men (the middle of the bell curve) to get laid and get into stable relationships with regular sex.

That’s exactly why I’m trying to level up and join the top percentage by improving my physique, income, and living situation. I’m self aware enough to know that as I am right now, I would have a tough time with dating by not being jacked, financially struggling, and living at home with my parents.

I’m working on the no porn and no masturbation and it sure is tough. My biggest hurdle with that is that I know that I’m not gonna be having sex anytime soon and then I start to lose hope and give in, but then I feel worse when I do give in. I just started with the weight lifting since I have now lost about 30 lbs of fat and I’m trying to make time for it every day. As for the above average home, I know that’s probably not in the cards for me. I’m trying to buy a large and spacious RV to live in, and then buy a plot of land and live in it on my land and at some point in the future, probably get a pre-built modular home installed on my land.
