Cold approach is normal as long as you are not weird or looks like this is what you do frequently
I have done plenty of approaching in non-bar public places and never once have I caught the attention of private security guards or store management with indoor venues.
Do you agree with WW in that 5% of women, the ones who have the teeth and make complaints or TikTok videos are just ruining cold-approaching for the rest of normie/sub-5 guys? He is arguing that social circle game is not realistic as most guys are in gender segregated hobbies or environments, OLD only works with Chads/Chadlites, and the last hope of cold approach is being ruined because if a lady can ruin things for a guy who is doing these interviews, how would it be for other guys who are looking for connection? Your whole future could be put to risk.
I partially agree with Wheat Waffles that women who complain about harrassment with approaching are ruining in-person approaching.
Women don't want to field approaches in-person from men whose looks are sub-5. They would rather shift those interactions to the internet, where they can safely swipe left on an app on sub-5s or reject/block the incoming DM on a social media platform. I have seen plenty of women complain on LinkedIn about receiving offers for dates and/or sex on LinkedIn. Typically, the woman who complains on LinkedIn about these offers is a White woman 30+ who is married or in some sort of LTR, which they will mention in the post while complaining about it. On LinkedIn, it has probably been at least 12 months since I have seen one of those complaint posts about dates/sexual offers in my NewsFeed, but I was seeing them much more frequently from 2019-2022.
It's more inconvenient for a woman to reject a man in-person than it is to reject them from behind some electronic screen in a tech-based approach method.
Most normies will not face consequences for approaching strangers for romantic reasons if they do it in a socially calibrated way. I would also not recommend doing approaches on college campuses without a university affiliation and reason for being on campus. Campus approaching works best for college students approaching other college students.
When an approach begins, a woman is judging mostly on looks. She might be able to get an idea of money/status too based on where the approach is, your clothing/wristwatch, and your shoes. Money is less important in the first 5-10 seconds than looks are.
The swipe apps are even more tilted in favor of looks and personality means less on a swipe app. Instagram game is looks and social status based too. Personality starts to matter a bit with in-person approaching within 30-60 seconds, but looks are still #1.
With all this said, approaching strangers either in a bar or non-setting is a low percentage effort. For evidence, look at the efforts of
@Jesse Pinkman and
@nicksaiz65 . Both these men have had 10-30 approach nights without anything to show for it. My own approaching efforts over time tell a similar story. Even in the 1980-2005 era, approaching strangers was still an inefficient play. I started making approaches in the late 1990s while in high school and approached on college campuses and off campus parties as a college student between 2001-2005. Approaching was tough in the early 2000s and I had even begun to read both seduction and sex manuals while I was a college student during that time.
He isn't even picking up women on a campus. These are just basic interviews.
He got removed from campus because he's a random person on campus talking to students on the campus.
And rightfully so. If he would just be standing there" minding his business " the same would've happened. Especially nowadays with all the terrorists attacks, mass shootings ect.
I don't believe Wheat Waffles was a student, employee, faculty member, or approved vendor at that particular university where he got banned from campus. Therefore, he has no official business at that university and is subject to getting removed.
However, plenty of other YouTube content creators have made videos on university campuses without being students. Juan of ThatWasEpic, BigDawsTV, Daily Dropout, Steven Schapiro, Lara Fraser, and Dani Jackel have all done on campus videos without officially being a student at most of the universities where they've made videos. Schapiro, Fraser, and Jackel were all creators for the Daily Dropout channel before deciding to go out on their own and start their own channels. Fraser and Jackel are female though.
Alex of Playing with Fire does street interviews in the Brickell neighborhood in Miami without incident regularly. Notice he doesn't go on to college campuses. Courtney Ryan has also done random street interviews.
