For most things in life having an iq of 100 ( which is like slightly above average ) is more than enough

The higher the iq level after that, the more you will go towards the “autistic” side

Most of the wealthy people are not geniuses. Look at bill gates, he made most of the money from parenting software that he did not write

Not even Steve Jobs had a big iq
All it means is that you have to work at different things harder than a person with a lower IQ.

I used to get A's in school barely studying or opening a book. Lower IQ people had to study their asses off to get B's or C's sometimes.

I had to work very hard to come out of my introvert shell and learn how to be extroverted when I need to be and be social and learn how to talk with women. That was very difficult for me and I had to work really hard at it. Being in sales was the best thing that happened in that regard...you learn how to interact with people or you don't eat. Forces you to learn and adapt really quick. For some of the other lower IQ people it came easy.

You never have to accept where you are at in life with anything. All this means is that each person will have to work harder at certain things than other things to improve at them, whereas those things come easy for other people.

Now, you may never get to a point where you are as good as someone who it comes naturally to no matter how hard you work at it, but there is no reason you can't greatly improve from where you are at currently.

Lets take golf for example. You might never be a PGA Tour Pro, but if you went out every week and played 4 rounds of golf religiously for a year, you'd notice a huge improvement from where you are now to where you'd be in a year. It's like that with anything in life. If you focus your time and energy on improving in that area, you will improve.

How seriously you take it and how focused you are on doing whatever it takes to improve is usually what separates those who make marked improvement versus those who see little improvement.

I like some Astronomy but I need a lot of times to visualize the movement in the solar system. In your brain do you see it like an animation? How many things in movement can you visualize?

I have never even thought of anything like that to be honest. I don't try to do it, it just happens...I am not sure how to explain how or why, it just does.

Often times when I think back to an event that happened I can see it playing in my mind like I am watching a movie and can remember pretty specific details that sometimes seem weird. It's not like a photographic memory, but it would kind of be a few levels down from that.

Now if you tried to visualize the solar system and the movement of planets. The tilt of the earth and all. Or let's say you watch a animation about it. Can you kind of visualize it like an animation?

Or when you watch a movie can you visualize and manipulate it?

Why that?
1). I never developed a solid work ethic or grind mindset and struggle with performing mundane activities.
2). I cannot relate to most people and get severely irritated by low-mid IQ characteristics such as Platitude/Words of Affirmation worship and being unable to make your own constructive thoughts.
3). I overthink a lot which leads to stress, anxiety, drinking lol, and sleep issues.
4). I am extremely impatient lol.
5). As a tall, muscular, 6-foot-1 black man, society often places expectations on me to fit into the role of an entertainer or something similar.
6). I can be mistaken for an @$$hole

Like @BackInTheGame78, I struggled with my career until I got into sales in which I am doing exceptionally well in. However, the economy is causing politics and micromanagement to creep into the field more so though :(

Here is a quick acid test to check if you are medium-above medium IQ right now! If you need words of affirmation, platitudes, or motivational crap to aid yourself then you are not high IQ. You are medium or below medium IQ lol.

I see. On paper a high IQ guy should be able to be much quicker to accomplish the bucket lists like being financially independent. Do all kinds of self improvement levels like Joe Rogan. Doing ice bath and al that stuff but I guess most high IQ guys do not need that stuff anyway as they solve problems easily as they come I guess.

High IQ does not make you a God. This is a hard to reach/unsustainable accomplishment regardless.

I wouldn't associate these with High IQ TBH. In fact, having a lower IQ would be more beneficial for self-improvement like the gym because high IQ people do not enjoy grinding, mundane tasks, and tend to question authority and processes. Athleticism and the gym came easy to me because I am gifted genetically with the strongest human genes (75% West African and 25% Scandinavian ancestry), so I only need to put in 30% of the work at the gym. If I didn't have this gift then I would be screwed lol.

That's absolutely untrue and terrible advice. The people who are at the pinnacle of their professions and highest level athletes use those on a daily basis along with visualizations.

You simply don't have a good understanding of how the brain works and how the Law of Attraction works and why.

Sorry but it is completely truth. Words of Affirmation and Platitudes are for the sheep. Highest level athletes and top professions were gifted with genetics & opportunities to get them to the places they are today, not because of some platitude they read on Facebook.

Why don't high IQ people like grinding tasks when they know how beneficial they can be? They should know how things work better than most.

But some high IQ people might have emotional problems like OVERTHINKING. Mantras and affirmation can help against that.

I think you are giving High IQ people a god complex. High IQ people have flaws like everyone else. The recent Movie Oppenheimer demonstrates an excellent example of how to outwit a person with a high IQ.

Here's the funny part:

There are two members posting within this topic; claiming to have high(er) intelligence, but have repeatedly proven otherwise.

I will not out them by name, but will offer a hint toward their identities. These two are notorious for almost always finding a way to respond to any topic and instead of helping a fellow-brother... they'll typically seek some sort of opportunity to speak highly about themselves.

To answer the OP's question; I do not accurately know mine. Upon the instance of my mother, I got tested. This was when I was a teenager and going through the typical rebellious stage. Unbeknownst to her, I intentionally smoked a joint beforehand. I scored two points below genius level. This isn't to brag. In many cases, this is actually a liability.

But yet there are plenty of people who are as gifted or more gifted genetically that never reach that level they have. Why do you think that is?

You have a lot to learn in life.

calm down Hank Moody!

But yet there are plenty of people who are as gifted or more gifted genetically that never reach that level they have. Why do you think that is?

You have a lot to learn in life.
1). Lack of Luck/Opportunities or having a lot of negative life outcomes prevent them from springing forward

The Movie Pursuit of Happyness highlights an intelligent person born in the wrong circumstance that needs luck and opportunities to go his way. Fortunately, they do. 12 years a slave is another example. The guy is clearly gifted in intelligence but was born in the US during slavery and gets kidnapped by slave catchers.

2). Poor Work Ethic/Lethargic mindset- This prevents a person from capitalizing on the luck/opportunities that do present themselves and puts him or her in to lesser situations.

The Movie Office Space is a good example of a smart person in a lethargic position because of poor work ethic or laziness lol. Lip from Shameless is a mix of number 2 and 3, really smart but not motivated at all due to poverty and being complacent. Piggybacking to The Pursuit of Happyness, if the main character lacked the work ethic and motivation to get out of his situation, he would have just been a poor person with high IQ.

3). Bad Environments- Self-explanatory

Again, high IQ doesn't equate to being a GOD.
