LOL. Avocados are unsaturated fat!
Yes, I am well aware.

That being said, saturated fats play an important role in the body and the demonization of them is illogical.

Breast milk contains a lot of saturated fat...can't be that bad for you as that's the first food a baby "needs" according to nature.

Adults do not drink breast milk and babies have physiologically ideal Apo-B levels. Even then, there is evidence that atherosclerosis actually begins in childhood. Also, all saturated fat isn’t created equal. Stearic acid in chocolate is more benign than saturated fat in butter and red meat. Either way, you are still better off with that avocado.

You simply have an incomplete understanding of how the body works and no amount of evidence will get you to have a better amount of understanding it seems so I'll let you do you.

Probably because studies indicate a lower risk of CVD with saturated fats so there is a lot more at play than you simply ranting about a single thing endlessly.

But that's how it usually works in the body. There are lots of connections and interplays between numerous systems and various things that we aren't even close to fully understanding yet.

Confounders? The consensus in cardiology is that there is causal relationship between serum Apo-B and atherosclerosis. And that saturated fat beyond a threshold (8-12% of total calories) impairs the livers ability to clear Apo-B from the blood. Do with that information what you’d like.

The fact remains, saturated fat is non-essential. EFAs are unsaturated, which evidence suggests has either benign or positive effects on Apo-B. It’s one of the reasons the “Mediterranean diet,” high in nuts, fish, olive oil, etc is held in such high esteem.

Just had my testosterone checked again. 496, up from 453 last year. Ironically, this is after I discovered soy milk. My goodness this stuff is delicious. Guess I am a “soy boy” now..

Side note, the only animal fat I’ve consumed in the last 6 months has come from fish. No butter, ghee, red meat, egg, birds, nothing. They are nonessential.
