Hi Pierce,
I think many guys are exaggerating their problems, that they may obtain a Doctors Prescription to get Sildenafil Citrate at the Chemist, are actually using it as an enhancer rather than a dire necessity....I fit in the latter category these days but until being maybe 65 Years old it wasn't absolutely necessary,in this Country many young Men use this to give them better Svex even if they have had a few Glasses!

Porn plays a big role in this.
Porn is pretty much the entire cause. I know men are getting unhealthier but that probably only accounts for a small part of it.

There are already many studies showing porn addiction causes ED and other sexual dysfunctions. And there are endless posts about it on forums. But this gets no mainstream attention.

I've been telling people for ten years that porn will be the cigarettes of the 21st century. It will probably take a few more decades before people wake up.

Viagra is used to enhance work outs.
Cialis also increases BDNF in the brain and improves prostate health. These are genuinely some of the closest things to miracle drugs.

Gee...lots of female infertility issues in recent years too. All kinds of issues for people, actually.

Also, phuck the Daily Mail for the 1,000th time. Tried to see when the study was conducted but my laptop froze. But article appears unsourced.

Yo Pierce, how do you get *doubled*? You linked the Daily Mail, you provide the synopsis. Lol. The author, Cassidy Morrison, is a complete hack, and I'm not wasting any more damn time trying to figure it out while waiting for the phucking page to load.

Dudes, don't link the Daily Phucking Mail unless you are willing to provide all the relevant deets yourself. It's the single worst site on the web.

Thanks.

Hi Pierce,
On Googling in "Does Viagra improve your cardio vascular and Prostate health"It seems it really does, quite remarkably.....So much so that it seems every older Male should consider regularly taking it or the similarly beneficial Cialis or Levitra....Accepting that at face value,I ask myself,do we benefit most from the enhanced circulation of blood to the heart and more regular use of the Prostate,or that feeling of satisfaction and worth that happy Svex provides?

However, if you think of it from a circular point of view, the reason men are trying to perform better at sex is because of porn and feminism. Both men and women now have high standards of sex, and what you do in the bedroom can make or break your social status. Which is the exact problem going on here. Which is leading to trips to go for sex enhancing drugs to make their d*cks last longer. Before, most men just nutted in the woman and was done with it. And sometimes, if the emotion really was there, the couple can last for hours without any enhancements at all.

You see, this is just another one of those problems where men rush to a drug to try to increase their social status not unlike steroids. I would daresay that drugs like viagra and cialis are part of the steroid category.

The other issue here which is also part of the above two problems: men and women having promiscious sex just for recreational reasons. Often you got both going out onto, having a Sex in the City lifestyle through social apps and social bars where they have multiple sex partners, one night stands, and affairs. A lot of these situations are not exactly out of passion but instead just doing it just for the sake of it. Though I would argue you get more passion from affairs due to the thrill.

The point I am making is that men are going after these drugs cause of the first world's structure of the sexes and social status based on sexual performance. Personally I do not like it.

I think everyone should revisit any studies after the fiasco that is the health industry in general, which is currently lead by profit rather than by actual concern for people's health. My quip is that there is always a consequence to placing outside agents into your body, and cialis and viagra aren't as healthy as people claim. Even if the lowering of prostate cancer is true, that does not account for any other problems that can occur from using those drugs. Headaches, runny noses, constricted blood vessels to name a few all can be injuring and lethal. Remember all the excuses they say about female birth control, then realize all the fallout of women being mass diagnosed. It has been a great disaster to the female gender.

@BillyPilgrim There are some links to external sites in the article if you can resolve your browser issue.

If DailyMail triggers you, why not just not read the articles?

As with all posts on this site, it is left to the reader to decide their value. Even if the article is not true it’s been syndicated and reproduced across the world - it’s a good strategy to know what’s being said en masse about a issue that mostly relates to men.

These PDE-5 inhihibitors were originally designed to improve heart function and were incidentally found to be effective for ED.

Those side effects are extremely benign... transient discomfort is way better than some kind of toxicity to the liver or DNA or psychoactive effects (which there are none).

It does not constrict blood vessels btw, it's a vasodilator though a fairly mild one. No one has ever died from viagra or cialis as far as I know. Also for the record, cialis is the safest of them (maybe levitra too but I don't know much about it)

Did it really double or did patients and doctors just start looking for it more and turn it from something that was a source of deep embarrassment for many men to talk about into a routine conversation these days?

IMO, it's simply something a lot more men feel comfortable bringing up to their doctor and especially now that you can do it via online consultations.

It didn't really double, it was happening silently without me talking about it in years past.

And the pr0n-industrial complex.

Are you sure? Are you really sure no one has died from either or been injured? Are you really, really REALLLY sure?

Yes. I just searched on pubmed and there's not only evidence of vasodilation but angiogenesis at least with cialis. I could only find one article indicating death associated with viagra but it was behind a paywall. From what I know the only risk of death is when you combine them with nitrites.

If you're implying you know of contrary evidence please enlighten us.

I personally think much of it is connected to the slowly increasing obesity rate in the country. Being (pre)diabetic, which obesity is a huge risk factor for, no pun intended lol, puts you at high risk of having erectile issues.
