You can google LK-99. It sure sounds like a scam.
There has been little overall scientific progress since the 1960's. Pretty much everything we have today existed 50-60 years ago. Yes, some things are better and more efficient (i.e. computers, electronics, software) but not really "new" has been invented in the past half-a-century.
I mean yes and no...computers in the 1960s took up a huge room and were about 1000x slower than an average cell phone today in terms of computation power. If you don't think that's progress and advancement I am not sure what to tell you.
Fiber optics were invented in 1952 but it wasn't until well into the 1990s and even 2000s that they took full advantage of it to transmit data for calls and Internet service for consumers and it continues to be improved in terms of speed and coverage area.
Making things much faster, smaller, better and more efficient IS advancement of technology and is actual taking something that was "invented" but has no real use case and turning it into something that you almost cannot live without.
I mean look at how the Internet has advanced. Went from being a military invention that went to the public but was so slow that it was pretty much unusable for anything other than sending emails or reading text to now when you literally stream movies, music and anything else over it and don't need cable, CDs, or DVDs and run your phones off of it which are almost an extension of your person in a way they never could have even imagined back in the 1950s since they had no concept of any of this.
It's taken many many many years of continual advancements and inventions of new technologies to utilize these inventions to make proper use of them.
It doesn't do much if you invent something but have no way to use it because the technology and/or infrastructure to integrate it into people's lives doesn't exist. And then many decades after that to be able to continually improve and advance the technology and infrastructure to get it to where it is today. I mean look at all the things that had to happen for the Internet to go from dial up to fiber/cable/5G and WIFI that exists today. That wasn't even a thought back in the 1980s because they had no way to even do what we are doing today and nothing created to take advantage of it even if it waa available.
