Master Don Juan
This thread is to mostly share my and get your thoughts on the perfect life-balance.
My main objective since I was 22 years old was to achieve a life balance. And I divided this into four categories:
1. Wealth
2. Health
3. Love
4. Happiness.
I will explain why.
Wealth:
Most people I know say "Never care about money" it comes and goes. I fully understand their point of view. Maybe they are not goal driven to succeed at a higher income level. Or they simply are happy with what they have in their lives and that's fine.
My self coming from a poor family-dysfunctional-f3ucked up I decided that I will never let myself drown under a river with money. I always wanted to achieve financial independence because having no money brings misery. People who say otherwise are either delusional or don't understand how life works.
I added wealth as the first chapter of success as without wealth, no health, love, and final happiness can survive. Yes, you can be happy without money, but once your health starts to suffer you need money to survive. You need money to have a steady relationship with your spouse and take your kids to the best college and give them the ultimate life experience.
Whoever says otherwise is delusional. Period.
Health:
Health is next. This is probably the most important aspect of us as human beings. I added wealth first as even going to the freaking gym requires money. Taking care of ur-self. Eating healthy. Surviving Daily.
I personally spent more than 300-500 bucks monthly on health. Gym, Foods, Activities. Yes, I'm in good shape. It shows. Could I ever do that without money?
We all know the answer.
Health is Wealth.
Love:
I was reading a blog about the main reason for a high divorce rate in the US.
Guess what was the reason?
As they called it "financial challenges" funny how that works. The divorce rate was at 65%.
Again is not always about money.
Love equals balance. If you and your spouse make good money you will be both more relaxed-balanced-stress-free. I can't tell you how many couples I know that they are miserable.
it's house-work-house-misery-depression. I know people who make sh1t tone of money and they are miserable. It also works the other way around is not black and white. But this is another topic for another discussion.
Happiness:
This is the trickiest one to achieve.
Personally, I don't consider myself happy yet. I would say I'm trying to reach that happiness within myself as long as I'm achieving my goals and moving forward in life.
It's a side-effect.
Money does not buy happiness it never will. It's not the point of this thread. It's more about the proper structure of life like a car engine.
You need all the 4 cylinders of life to work with each other to achieve if possible your happiness. I found my own cylinders and got pretty-far-ahead.
This is my final thoughts on this.
Happy to listen to yours.
