The key in my eyes is your first point I quote, "you think things would be better", which is exactly that, just a thought and opinion. Most of the bickering back & forth I see is coming from members triggered by threads that are too literalistic in nature stating "this is how it is" or "this is the truth" when it's simply a viewpoint, and sometimes not based on a wide field of experience.
Why do we need a safe space for guys that can't handle a difference in opinion? There's a lot of dumb shvt said on this forum that I do not agree with, but do I throw a hissy fit, troll other members, and brown nose the moderators? No! because I either state my rebuttal or don't contribute to the topic. I hate to burn your cake, but it's the internet, there's always going to be someone you do not agree with regardless of the website. The redpill and men's dating advice is one of the least cohesive groups known to man, so you are asking for a pipe dream broski.

You're doing it right now.
He isn't, he's engaging in the discussion. Maybe you read his post with an angry interpretation in your mind, but he might not be angry at all and is just asking a couple of critcal questions.

Text is a limited format that opens up for multiple interpretations other than what the poster might have intended. I think this might be an example of that.

His post is totally allowed under the forum rules. Your reply on the other hand is bordering on what could have been the start of bickering, just a plain accusation without any arguments. If you want to raise the quality around here you have to at least display yourself what you wish to see. I doubt you want a forum where "no u" or any similar variation of that is a common reply.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

From what I've seen, forums take a life of their own, have 'moods' of sorts that change/alternate through time.

Modding can be difficult.

Maybe a middle ground would be something like another sub-forum, similar to The Mature Man, where threads only end up if moved there by a mod after a request (by thread OP, or preferably, another frequent member). "Higher end" type of content that the OP is trying to describe.

That would pose its own challenges, in time for mods, and, in determining what qualifies for that sub.

We kinda have that already in The Hall of Excellence, although I have to admit it's neglected. Only mods can create or move threads over to it, but anyone can reply in the threads.

It is supposed to be higher end content judged by the forum through likes and positive discussion engagement, but as I said it's neglected. We have to pick out the threads manually and move them over, preferably when discussion in the original forum it was in has cooled down so as not to limit the exposure.

It is the hall of excellence, but there's no denying most users stay on the general discussion sections. We might just need to do a better job of it, but anyways, your idea kinda already exists.

There's really nothing preventing anyone from nominating a thread they think is really good and sending us a PM about it or something.
