Man this year has been the year of superfights for boxing.. Also a decent year for UFC.. but, this is one of those super matches that you don't see very often.. Probably as big as it gets in this era..

I'm rooting for Errol Spence.. simply because I never liked Terrence Crawford, hes a good boxer for sure, but I like the calm and humbleness of Errol. Terrence just comes off a bit ****y and also padded alot of his earlier/first half of his record with jobbers.

I've been waiting for years and got disappointed so many times when negotiations kept falling apart.

Spence is my current favorite and he is the slightly "bigger" guy but Crawford will probably edge him. He has more wrinkles to his game. Also remember Spence Jr nearly killed himself in the car crash and had that eye injury.

Crawford beat Postol and a couple other good guys but yeah his career has kinda been underwhelming. He's supremely talented tho. Smashed Gamboa.

Totally irrelevant but shouldn't guys named Errol and Terence be fencing or dueling instead? Even a gunfight sounds too modern for these dudes.

Don't watch boxing as much as before like when I was in high school. Due to the fact that you now have the Ufc and other fight sports but yeah crawford is a beast and has been ever since he beat gamboa a medalist.

I've got all my cash on Zab Judah.
Zab was a joy to watch and I have most of his fights on dvd. He was the only one that genuinely made Mayweather Jr. touch the canvas but it wasn't called against him. I got to meet him Zab when he fought Paulie Malignaggi in Brooklyn I was in attendance for that one. He was very nice and has matured the past several years. Great physical tools but unfortunately head wasn't always in the right place at times, kind of like James Toney who wasn't always the most disciplined when it came to his weight/training.

How many of you guys saw the recent Inoue fight? He's very special indeed, was unified & relinquished the belts, went up a weight class to fight the best guy (Fulton) and did it in very dominating fashion, punctuated with a knockout.

There used to be a poster on here back in the day who was crazy about Boxing and posted about it a lot, Clooney, I wonder whatever happened to him? I can specifically remember a post he made (I think he was a big Felix Trinidad fan as we all were) when he was surprised Bernard Hopkins put a pasting on him. I'm not sure if there is/was a Boxing thread.

I'm going to be out of the country on vacation when Spence - Crawford happens. I'm going to the land of Pharaoh's - but i'll catch it somehow for sure. I'm just hoping for a good fight (which I believe it I will be) and am still leaning towards Crawford.
