Plate referring me as her BF

This one came back a few months ago and we've haven't had the exclusivity talk since. I've been doing well at keeping my other plate out of sight, the other plate knows she isn't the only one and is fine with it.

Have any of you dealt with a similar situation and how did it eventually turn out?

Yup, happens all the time. I only openly call one of my entourage my gf. Many of them refer to me as their man or bf. Doesn’t particularly bother me.

My POV is basically “just because someone states something is the case, it doesn’t mean it is, in fact, the case.”

Additionally, if you reap benefits from their misjudging the situation, why dissuade them of it? If it came down to it “we never defined the relationship”, is the answer.

The turd in the corner that you should be aware of is that if you respond negatively to her claiming gf status, you will ALMOST certainly not be smashing it for much longer. So best to ignore.

You are her boyfriend. It has happened to me before. I was banging a chick for 8 months, next thing you know she was talking about ring shopping and a wedding. She completely bypassed the exclusivity conversation.

I like this approach, thanks.

Congratulations. I hope you'll remember the good advice you've received on here when thinking about the wedding invitations.

- serious non joking part-
There is such thing as too much of a good thing. By that I mean even if you've tried to keep things casual, eventually the chick wants more. Happened to me many times. The ball is in your court - if she has ticked all ghe boxes and adds value to your life it is worth considering. Never give into her demands if you're not sold on her. Believe it is better to end things rather than keep it going because you're afraid of hurting her feelings or losing out on vag
