How to handle such situations

I was smoking in an open shared area, 3 girls come to sit next to me. One grabs a chair and as she is grabbing it i say 3 on 1 that’s too much, they begin to laugh. I begin to talk to them and stuff, alot of bull**** and teasing. Getting to know them. All is fine, and one of them really went with the flow and we are flirting back forth. Suddenly out of nowhere her friend says oh we have to get back to studying which i can smell a mile away that it was full of **** and she was jealous she wasn’t getting any attention. All of em left but 2 of them wanted genuinely to stay. I wave bye and all.

My question is should i have asked the girl who was flirting with me for her number right then and there or isolate and close the deal? Also how to handle girls like the one who suddenly became responsible during an approach? Should i’ve told her wait and asked if she has a boyfriend?

I would have gone for the number right there and then, in front of the other girls´s faces. Sometimes you have a small window to number close and you have to take it.

I hate such **** blockers man..I sure everyone does... I have tried asking the number right there and then in such cases, but the chick looks at her friend and then out of pity for her she makes an excuse..
I also tried isolating one chick from her friend..but her friend was so insecure and shameless that she kept butting in between us..I frankly told her to give us some space but then the chick I was interested in felt guilty and made up an excuse to go..smh..

Close exactly before they fully leave. You should just ignore that other girl's insistence on leaving and let yourself ask those who wanted to stay. All while keeping it fun and light. No need to isolate, get the other girl in on the kidding.

If she gave you her number, good for you. If she didn't, so what? It happens. You all still had fun, right? Be free of expectations so you can keep it enjoyable for you and themselves.

She wouldn't exactly have been a c-ckblock had you held yourself up and kept it funny, I guess. So what? Ask the other girl's number too. Give her a chance to talk to a guy you know, maybe. They're both there, might as well give them both attention.
