I just wanted to share an experience that sorta came to an impasse this weekend, I live in the US. I have a friend (F 50) that is single and pretty. We hang out a lot together. She started dating this dude that is a boat captain, he would take her with him on some of his trips delivering boats and stuff like that. This is not an rich person, this is a working man doing well for himself that has an interesting and fun life. To me it was pretty obvious she wanted this guy to save her and sweep her away from the toil of having to support herself. Never said a single nice thing about the guy even when they first started dating, yet she was dating him over a year. I gave my friends a play by play of what was going to happen in her relationship and over the next year it was executed like a script. I said she was going to eventually stop working, land on this guys lap "helpless" and he was going to eventually dump her after getting sick of paying her bills. So over the course of 18 months or so we hang out and we drink together and I get snippets of whats really going on with them between the BS, posturing, and lies. The guy eventually ended up paying about 6 months worth of her bills, so I'm mildly estimating about $9K? I'm sure he paid for drinks and dinners also. So on average id guesstimate $550 a month is what his short term girlfriend ended up costing him? He would pay her to help him with odd jobs and of course it was with complaints. In the end the guy was vilified as a person that was trying to take advantage of her of course. Amazingly, he was not even appreciated for doing this.
I wanted to share this story because I have seen this scenario play out before in carbon copy. Any woman you meet that works these jobs that require little training is capable of this, your waitresses, bartenders, etc. I call these jobs pickup jobs because if you need one you can just pick one up and make some money. Men, it is critically important you take your time with relationships. Women like this are always going to push for things to happen fast because they want to obligate, and tap into your resources as quickly as possible. They are going to love bomb you and give you everything you have always wanted from a woman. And it all ends when she thinks she has some degree control or obligation over your resources by either getting a ring or even just living together. The American legal system absolutely enables and promotes this behavior in the form of common law marriages, alimony and other such things. All our lives we are brainwashed to be providers. Don't fall for it. The prize is you. Don't settle. Find a woman that truly loves you. A woman that tells you what she likes about you. Do not enable this behavior by supporting these women that just want to use their bodies to manipulate men. Educate yourself on boards like this.
