Don Lemon's departure isn't going to have much of an impact. CNN's ratings have been abysmal for the past 5 years. When Stelter and Cuomo exitted CNN, it was barely even noticed - because no one was watching CNN anymore.

CNN also had to cancel their pitiful CNN+ subscription service due to poor subscription numbers.

The puppet masters are aware that CNN's extreme leftism is not popular with Americans and Fox News' right-lean is a little bit TOO POPULAR with Americans (Tucker is the #1 media personality in cable news)...

So they purged both Tucker and Don Lemon on the same day. They're going to move their narrative propoganda to a more centrist view....

News in America is dead, there is no journalistic integrity anymore - there's only reporting of partial facts presented in a skewed manner.

We can expect CNN's message to move slightly towards conservatism to capitalize on the growing right-lean of America.

And we can also expect Fox News to pull slightly back from their conservative populism, but that won't last for long. The reality is that right-wing populism is the biggest money-maker in cable news, but the problem is that right-wing populism doesn't serve the interest of the donor class and so they constantly have to skew the stories they report....

Fox News will become milquetoast and lose the viewership of the hardcore right, which is basically what the Republican party voter base is. There's no such thing a classic, George W Bush era republican voter anymore... The Republican Party is now the MAGA party and it will NEVER go back to the Bush days.

CNN, on the other hand, won't feel much of a loss with Lemon's depature because their ratings were already abysmal...

CNN's ratings haven't been good in far longer than 5 years. Fox News has been getting better ratings than CNN since the 2000s for the most part, Fox News had some audience issues after the 2020 election for a few months but that seemed temporary.

Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC viewers are all old. Average and median viewer statistics for live and recorded broadcasts are around age 60-65 depending on network. Website and YouTube clips from the network probably lower the age of people who consume their content.

All 3 are becoming less relevant.
