Dude, this is legitimate pretty crazy. However, now, problem is, once guys get the procedure done, they'll have to come up with new excuses as to why they're not getting laid.

I saw an animated gif somewhere of how the leg lengthening surgery works and it looks terrifyingly painful.
I didn't realize it also cost more than most other plastic surgeries though!

5 inches is a lot but it's probably not worth it unless every girl clowns on you for being short.

I guess I should not take my decent height for granted and start talking to girls, like this guy has. I did know know I had HEIGHT PRIVILEDGE, but now I do.

Women get breast implants
Wear make up
Put on High heels
Wear Push up bras
Clothing that captures their figure
Nails done eyebrows done fake eye lashes
Skin care beauty products
Hair extensions

The list is unending

But a man gets leg lengthening
And open the flood gates of judgement

A guy is 5'5" and a software engineer. That's a recipe for being an incel.

It's understandable why he did what he did.

He's a decent looking guy. He was able to get a girlfriend post surgery.

And he is still insecure as ever which will end up killing this relationship eventually

I'm a software engineer and am definitely not an Incel. We call those people backend engineers in the industry haha

We are engineers are incels.
A lot of male STEM majors in college and men in STEM occupations are incels.

Engineering is the E in STEM and skill in Mathematics (the M in the STEM) is a part of completing an Engineering degree.

Engineers of all kinds are regularly incels or borderline incels.

A lot of Computer Science guys are incels and borderline incels too.

Speak for yourself, I was in restaurants, retail and sales for a long time prior to becoming an engineer. Brought me out of my introvert shell real quick...you either learned how to talk to people and get them to like you or you didn't eat.

But yes, there are a lot of people in that job who are. Some people on my team are IMO...still play D and D regularly.

A lot of software engineers are introvert, incel types. I actually had someone connect with me on OLD that sort of went a little cold when she found out what I did because of her previous interactions with those types. I pushed through and made it even more obvious that I was outgoing, not shy, masculine/dominant through my messages. She said a few times after a few dates that she couldn't believe that I was a software engineer because my personality wasn't anything like what they usually are. So yeah, the stigma is there... you just have to make sure that you break through the stereotype.

Good for him if it makes him feel better about himself, however I am 6 feet tall and certainly don't have women throwing themselves at me.

Also, 5'5" is NOT that short. I can see if the guy was 5'4" and under to have the procedure done, but not 5'5"

Height is far from the end all be all that some men make it out to be.

I'd imagine that 5"5 is a pretty tough obstacle to overcome, although you can certainly overcome it if you maximise everything else.

I have a friend who is 5'5 one half inch and he has been married twice. He has done better than me in the woman department and I am 6 feet. 5'5" is short, but not terribly short where people will think "Man that guy is short! I think that is reserved for guys 5'4" and below.

I agree, it can certainly be done. You just often need to balance it out with very good looks or money/status usually.
