An article saying A good man invests in one woman.

Good men don’t seek the short-term, meaningless pleasure of sleeping with a lot of women — they invest in one woman and take on the long-term responsibilities that come with raising a family. A real alpha man is strong. He exercises self-discipline and holds back his base instincts, so he can be responsible for those around him — especially a wife and children.

Thoughts?

Author bio: "Amy Mastrine is an artist interested in truth and beauty. After living in Washington D.C., San Francisco, and New York, she now resides on a mountain. Her oil paintings are intended to honor the divine and sacred. Amy loves to forage in the woods, play piano, and fire dance."

Despite the woke geographical background, she's somehow a conspiracy theorist, anti-vaxxer, traditionalist, and has an article on "la bella figura"

Italianadar pinging hard on this one.

Maybe based on some one else’s version of morality.
It does also serve hypergamous imperatives, a good enough reason to ignore it.

Sounds like girlfriend wants an alpha that she can control according to her set of rules. Alphas tend to be “bad boys”, that gets the knickers wet, a man that does the things she wants at this stage of her life is an instant va-clang, so she’s attempting to reshape the term alpha to her hypergamous benefit after decades of carousel riding.

Just the title cures my insomnia. I don't care why you think it's more masculine to sacrifice the rest of your life raising brats.

An alpha male, in the true and original sense of that term, is a male who shows leadership qualities, is not afraid to take risks, and uses violence to exert dominance and control. Because of his propensity for risk-taking and violence (and because his status as the "top dog" is likely to be channelled by others), an alpha male's life expectancy is usually quite short. Therefore, any suggestion that an alpha male is some kind of a family man who plans for the future is patently absurd.

An ‘alpha’ male is someone who can maintain control while adapting to the ever-changing societal norms. Those that are stuck in their own self beliefs will soon be left behind

The brats aren’t the problem. Brats are a lot of fun usually. It’s the ex with the mental disorder that you knew you shouldn’t have punched seed into and made a life with, that makes things difficult.

I think the author of the article should keep his opinion to himself and not tell others how to think or live.

An Alpha Male is simply a guy who is very powerful due to being the leader of the tribe/group/social order. Hence he is a kind of role model for others. Violence and masculine strength is just a few of the qualtities needed, so are empathy, intelligence, emotional intelligence and leadership.

In the modern world women DO NOT NEED to be provided for because we live in a spciety of abundance. Men really need to stop working and contributing financially to the system because it is only causing inflation. With both men and women working full-time it is causing house prices and rents to get too high. To bring the cost of living down, get better working conditions and fix other major issues men need to spend less time as workers and more time and energy changing the system. When men are changing the system they cannot also be providers of financial resources. Men may need to go out and protest and go on strike, that could mean losing their jobs, this is not a provieder role. If men are having to provide for women financially it means they cannot go on strike, protest the current order, change things, work on other solutions because often these dont pay off or atleast not in the short term so men are needed to change the system, because women cannot do that, so they should not be valued as providers or workers because that is not needed but what is needed is changing the system.

A woman named Amy Mastrine has no credibility in assessing what is or what is not an alpha male.

At any given time, most men are beta males.

There was a time when the social constructs in many Western nations incentivized having a family. That hasn't been true in the United States since some point in the 1960s-1970s. Even compared to the 1970s-1980s, there's less incentive now for a man to live a family-centered lifestyle.

Very few alpha males in the United States and other Western nations now are men with wives and families. There were more alpha males with families in the GI Generation (1910s-early 1920s births, the guys who fought in World War II), and the Silent Generation (late 1920s-early 1940s births). These men in most cases grew up before the Sexual Revolution took hold and had a much different world view than the younger to middle aged men of the present day.

Right now, men with children under 18 at home are mostly either Gen X or Millennials. Both have dealt with unhealthy mating environments, although most Gen X'ers entered the mating marketplace in the 1980s/early 1990s, when it was healthier than what the Millennials faced after 2000. However, the family courts have been anti-male for the entirety of Gen X's time as sexually mature adults.

Since the start of no fault divorce in the early 1970s, the probability of a divorce at a given time during a marriage has been quite high. Over half of marriages do end in divorce at some point during a roughly 20-25 year period. Divorce statistics can be challenging to interpret and there is a lot of confusion out there surrounding them. The threat of a divorce, facing the anti-male court system, and having to co-parent with an unpleasant ex-wife is a reason for a rational male to avoid family life.

Alpha and sigma males have evaluated the situation and determined that a family-centered lifestyle is too risky for them. They have shifted their behaviors to pursue shorter term sexual options in most cases. Greater Beta males are still having families and many of them end up facing negative consequences in family court. Lesser Beta males are discarded by females and are some variation of incel/MGTOW. Women don't care when a man goes MGTOW because they never wanted those men anyway. Men only become MGTOW after a quantity of rejections piles up.

There's no way to make much of a case that a family-centered man is an alpha male. There are some smaller exceptions to the rule that can be found, but that's about it.

What's her name got to do with anything?
Regarding the article, it's all fine and dandy, PROVIDED the woman is a virgin.
A woman who wants a family should look for a man who talks about marriage and wanting children, and doesn’t try to sleep with her quickly. These are signs of a real alpha — a family man.
But if she has, euphemistically put, 'explored her sexuality' throughout her late teens and 20s and now at 28+ she wants a family, that man she's talking to is not an alpha, but a beta with capital B.

Many Alpha Males today do in fact have wives and children. However, delusional women think those men never step out.

Women delude themselves like this because they all want alpha males but are powerless while in relationships with one. They know he can replace her and there is nothing she can do about it.

I am amazed that I actually need to explain this. A woman does not have expertise on defining the characteristics of an Alpha Male.

Oh, OK, that's a different topic. But when you said 'a woman named Amy Mastrine' I thought there was something about that particular name that I was missing.

There's nothing specific about the name Amy Mastrine other than that it is a female name. She also looks feminine.

I have an ex-boyfriend who makes new phone numbers and social media accounts to get in contact with me every few weeks, even though I’ve verbalized a no-contact boundary multiple times. When I told a new boyfriend about this behavior, he aloofly said, “So? Sounds like you’re still into him.”
The above quote is from an article she wrote. She also wrote an article titled: 5 Reasons Why You Should Wait For Marriage To Have Sex
All this talk about ex and current boyfriends yet she has the gall to lecture on who's alpha and who's not.

Wrong. Society wants providers to sacrifice for the machine
What type of society exists where kids are abandoned by their fathers?

Trust me, one you don't want to be a part of.

Family structures exist for a reason and have since humans began. Stop taking this stuff too far, this mentality will not have the end result you think it will.

This makes you sound nonsensical.
