63% of young American men are single while most women in the same age group are in relationships

Came across this article from Brietbart today (there isn’t much political elements in the article and I’m not trying to start a discussion on politics) that reported 63% of men aged 18-29 in the US are single, while most women in that age group are in a relationship with only about 34% of them being single. The article goes on to report that while young men are far more likely to be single than middle aged men, it also showed that young women are single at the same rate of women aged 65+. It also showed that 50% of single young men are looking for relationships or casual dating, while only 35% of single young women in the same age group are looking for that as well, both of those percentages are a decrease from 2019.

The article also reports that today’s easy access to porn is one reason for this because men are getting their sexual needs satisfied with that while they’re home alone without having to go out and be social or spend money to take a woman on a date. The article also says that a lot of younger women are opting to date older men because they don’t want to settle and date someone who’s either equal or lower than them in terms of social status and they don’t want to date a man who makes less money than they do. Even though the article reports that the majority of post college jobs are being filled by women and that women are now much more likely than men to pursue a college education these days, which in turn makes women not see these non-college men as a dating option since they’re less educated and at a lower income than they are and women feel like they would be “dating down” by getting involved with any of those men.

This divide between men and women is growing and if we look at trends it will only continue this direction. More men will become redpill and view women in an entirely different light like we are already seeing. The majority I imagine will move further towards MGTOW ideology consciously or not. So many men have already 'given up' and I only see that getting worse with time unfortunately. I pity them

Also, in a way I think a man who would rather stay home and whack it is a 'loser', but at the same time I understand why they don't even bother with dating. Most modern young women are not worth a relationship, the same can be said for a good chunk of men.

It's like the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. The middle is becoming extinct.

I can understand why guys in the middle would give up and fall into the poor class and go without pu$$y. Women have overvalued themselves and society and social media have helped them.

My married friends and their wives are baffled by why I'm still single. Even after explaining how women today expect way more than they're worth that I simply do not put up with it. Been a good thing for me. I enjoy being free and doing what I want to, going where I want to, spending my money on ME. It depends. Plenty of the guys in the circle have girls who love doing stuff with the other couples in the circle.
