I had my last C&P exam a week ago for a claim that they are treating as a 'Gulf War Presumptive' from my time in the Middle East 2015 and 2017. I believe this falls under PACT Act guidance as well. It's over a kidney issue. Camp Lejeune and PACT Act claims are supposedly getting elevated status now, but at the same time they are flooded with all of these new claims and appeals. Just FYI for those submitting docs.

Gosh man glad you're taking the proper steps for getting your claim

I'm glad the testing came back with normal functioning, even if this doesn't give me a 100% rating. Gulf War Presumptive claims have a new statute of limitations through 2026. For PACT/Lejeune issues, I just tell people to get the claims, testing and exams done sooner rather than later because of the backlogs. See if you can go through your state's department of veterans services to represent you/your claims. That's what worked for me, after VFW didn't really want to do stuff like that for me, just sit around and drink.

That's too bad but glad you got your claim in.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

Just discovered I’ll be at least 60% frankly all I want is healthcare and PX/Commissary access. And free state college tuition for my kids if they end up staying in the state.

Only took me 30 years to make the claim. And if any of you vets aren’t using USAA YOU HAVE TO LOOK INTO IT. Insurance premiums alone are worth the trouble.

Hey man were you deployed in the desert?

Just discovered this the hard way a month ago--- For PX/Commissary access, your VA ID needs to have TWO lines under your photo. "VA Healthcare Enrollee" and (most importantly on line 2) "Service Connected". Have the VA enrollment office at your local hospital make you a new ID after you get the rating.

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

toxic water claim on base
That’s no surprise coming from swampy Lejeune…
You can’t run that many men thru that kind of a sh|thole and not expect some future health problems.
The on base water is believed to have become contaminated about 1953 and confirmed by Army labs mid 1980’s.

Thirty years of not adequately testing or giving a dam about base water quality is inexcusable …

yes. I just got back from Navy Dive/EOD school in Panama City, FL. And I also just went from nothing to a 90% disability rating before the holidays. Life is great. It's going to be even better when I see all these beta cucks that voted for fgt bullsh it get drafted & slaughtered soon. You reap what you sow. And yes, your vets are everywhere around here, gyms, hospital, etc. I don't know why they settled here. I have avoided the VFW lately and I am independently advocating for local vets looking to get a rating. There's just too much info out there that these guys don't know about and that's where I'm stepping up rn.

I'll be at MCRD-San Diego and Coronado NB next month if any of you wanna rip weights on/off base and go drink in the Gaslamp District lol...
Im in miami walking distance from vfw hit me up

Looked into donating, but Charity Watch and Charity Navigator show no records for them.

I'm surprised "donate" page lacks taxpayer id, and "contact page lacks a mailing address. I found both here:

It’s been many years. Sounds like they may have dissolved or merged into another organization.
