So it's happened with a few women in the last year, when I meet them (either in real life or via OLD) and then connect on IG, they watch my stories as long as I watch theirs; they never message first but they are fast to respond, if I ask them out, they of course give some BS excuse, and if I stop watching their stories, they stop watching mine like within a day or two. Anyone else noticing this? It's actually a pattern from what I've noticed.

I have noticed this. I think it comes back to validation/attention-seeking behaviors. They'll watch yours as long as you are orbiting around. If you don't then why have you around? Unless they see value in your content, assuming its entertaining and not every time you fart.

Then again, I only follow very close people to me that I have a personal relationship with. So that's less than 30 ppl. Not gonna mention how people follow me cause its irrelevant but the girls that watch my stories (which are usually photography, rarely anything personal) either don't know I don't follow them or simply enjoy my content.

If they never message first but are fast to respond they're players/orbiter collectors. They miiiiight go out if you blow them away with your date offer (which we won't be doing as dj's)

Guess its the 2020s version of the 2010s facebook pattern of "I like your pictures as long as you like mine".

Whoever nerd created this system probably hired the best social engineers available at the time.

Wish them all the worse possible outcome for their life just like the guy that created pop-up adverts for pc and the "log with" facebook/google/instagram screen for services.

I just know most people sit around all day looking at their phone, computer, or television consuming worthless mind numbing content.

If we didn’t have this, people would be forced to interact with others more. The average person would live a much more vibrant social life and People would seek out genuine human interaction every day.

When people desire human interaction as is necessitated by our nature, it’s too easy to turn to music streaming or a Netflix show or whatever else. People aren’t being encouraged to go outside and spend time with others.(do you remember the Netflix watch amount boom during the lockdown?) If we didn’t have social media and streaming like we do now people would basically be forced to interact with others to satiate their need for human interaction, and that would be a good thing.

I'll take it a step further and include easily attainable pornography in that mix of affecting people.

Don’t connect with them on IG. Get there number and set up a date.
