Incorrect. Contrary to popular belief, there isn’t much arab blood in Spaniards and Italians. That’s because the arabs were killed or expelled when those areas were re-conquered. Southern Italians are dark because they mixed with the Greeks and Spaniards were originally of a dark complexion (Catalonians are different). Parts of the Balkans are dark primarily because of mixing with Albanians and Bulgars.

It doesn't help his argument that Sicily became an agricultural booty hole colony of Spain for 400 years which froze the remaining gene pool due to no economic opportunity attraction (like American Appalachia basically) and you also have it in close proximity to the North African Barbary States for raiding and rape.

Despite all the bad things I say about Italians, some of my good friends are Italian. One of my close wings from years back was from Turin and he said that everywhere south of Rome is practically Africa. Contrary to what has been said, the Ancient Greeks and Romans were actually quite white, like natural redheads and natural blondes. The black hair and olive skin did not come from being out in the sun for too long, if that was the case your average white southerner of Scot-Irish descent would look ethnic!

Keeping this thread somewhat on topic though, I have to say that a woman who is comfortable and secure in her own skin is one of the most attractive kinds of women out there if the looks are there. I think this is why Eastern European women are so desired on top of just being downright gorgeous. You can have a Hungarian brunette with jet black hair and olive skin and she is going to own that look like no tomorrow, she doesn't care if she looks Latina or whatever, she is gonna own it.

Then you have Italian women who, if they have that same look, will get insecure and uncomfortable in their own skin desperately wishing they were blonder and whiter.

I cannot help but think this when I approach too and I think I am becoming prejudiced myself over the years. A girl tells me she is Eastern European, I keep gaming with a smile on my face. She tells me she is Italian I almost back off and at times even leave the set given how I know that the culture produces more deranged women than arguably anywhere else in the world.

It does make me curious though as to why Eastern Europeans are not as insecure or uncomfortable in their skin as Mediterranean people are. How a swarthy Eastern European woman could care less if she looks ethnic while a swarthy Italian chick turns into Cruella Deville over it. Could it be something deeper in what a culture values? Could it be that Eastern European people value more practical things while the Meds value flashiness and image above all?

There is just a special kind of attractiveness and power in the vibe a woman gives off when she is comfortable in her own skin. Eastern European women definitely have it, Italian women are the exact opposite of that.

Tried to be as specific with the regions as I could have been but I'll go ahead and say my poll is imperfect. My knowledge of various regions is a bit lacking at times so I might say certain countries are in this region when they are really in another, got a bit confused with Europe for sure.

I have and they are quite similar, especially the Balkans and the Mediterranean. FFS, Greece is literally right next door to the Balkans. TBH, me too! My type for the longest time has been the blonde Margot Robbie type but I always seem to end up with brunettes. The look I have banged leans more tanned towards Emily Ratajkowski but I have been with my fair share of pale brunettes with freckles too.
