It's a weird business model. The company must make people keep using its app and paying for it while marketing itself as an easy way for people to meet their partners. However, if the company actually was efficient at matching people, it would lose money because people would leave the apps.

If they were efficient, there would still be a market. A smaller one, but a more stable one. It's the common business model for the internet, make as much $ as you can without long-term considerations. I guess Match was going for the monopolistic approach, but people don't need to F as much as they need to eat, so not an entirely captive market.

The online apps probably had a good algorithm to match people IN THE very beginning, but then they notice the women keep on leaving their matched partners for other partners. The "grass is always greener on the other side" mentally. The ceos etc. probably thought, "Fvck it. Let's just try and maximize profit. Limiting women's hypergamy is a no win situation... why bother??"


Hahahhahaha.. can't have an efficient market if one side is delusional. This is probably why the online apps don't change and there are no better alternatives. Average women must accept the fact that they are only pump and dump material for the top 10% of men. They have to become less delusional.

One of the reasons not to use apps from any company is that they don't want you to be successful because then you exit their environment. The app companies need to keep you in the environment.

This phenomenon isn't replicated from any real world business where people tend to meet for dating purposes.

I have noticed whenever I start doing really well on these apps racking up a bunch of matches after deleting and recreating my profile i get banned. I am not sure if girls are reporting me for not replying or that they ban me for not paying for the apps.

I'm not the only one that has been banned, everyone i know that uses Tinder has also gotten banned despite not breaking any of the rules.

Why are these apps mass banning Men?
