That's an interesting point of view. The argument can made that sex is cheap because it doesn't require the lifelong commitment of marriage to get it.

I have tended to see sex as costly. All men pay for sex, either directly or indirectly. Although the price of sex doesn't require a ring, prices for getting sex can be perceived as high. Women can set a high price on their vaginas and they'll find a taker for whatever terms they dictate for their vaginas. It is great power to be able to leverage your vagina to get whatever you want for a good portion of your life.
