I don't use it anymore, but I used Bumble for a few months two separate times, about 6 months apart. The first time I used it, I got a lot of matches just because I was new. The matches dried up after about 2 weeks. I waited it out, but the matches were few and far between. I only swiped right on the one's I found attractive (and so did everyone else on the app). Met a few, but mainly the conversation ran their course without meetups and I canceled.
The second time I used it, I changed my game plan. Thinking about all the wokeness that infiltrated the dating apps, I started swiping right on ethnics, fatties and trannys (and the attractive girls too ofc). Something I never did this before, I had to swallow my pride on a daily basis and go for the greater good. Guess what? The matches never stopped coming. Yeah, I matched with a lot of trash, but I got waaaaay more hot girl matches too. I think the algorithm tests you to see if you are open to BLM and "Big and Beautiful" and are not LBGXYZ&=@+-phobic, you get rewarded by not being shut out of the whole system.
I don't use it anymore, walking up on girls is way more fun and more productive (for me).
Just my take...
