Can’t get off with a condom

I was married for 23 years during which there was no need to use a condom. My wife recently divorced me and I’m trying to date. But in the few times I’ve succeeded in getting a girl back to my apartment, she has asked me to put on a condom. Even though I’m fully erect I just can’t get off with the condom. I saw a urologist who gave me Cialis, but predictably, this has not helped because it is definitely not an erection issue. I just can’t feel anything down there with a condom on.

I’ve been wearing a condom when I jerk off but this hasn’t seemed to translate to the ability to use one for sex. For me at least there’s an awfully lot of effort involved in getting a girl back to my place. It’s pretty frustrating when all of that effort consistently results in no payoff due to not being able to get off. Any advice would be appreciated.

Condoms are usually too small and the rubber too thick. You're gonna have to spend some money on good quality ones that fit you and are thin enough, but sadly it requires some testing.

I have a similar issue. Its one of the reasons I prefer LTRs over spinning plates

There are some condom suggestions in that thread.

I have a few brands that I like. Skyn is a good option.

A lot will depend on the brand and also the width of the woman.

I’ve experienced that same situation. There’s no crime in asking the girl to finish you off. No matter If it was due to her or the condom, you always blame the condom. Ie; “baby, you we’re fantastic but your raincoat prevented my volcano from erupting. I could sure use your help.”

Try out the ultra thins a few brands have these. It could also be mental frankly, I know it has been for me in the past, has to do with feelings of acceptance in my case, nothing beats being bare - that said there’s a super strain of gono going around. YMMV.

I doubt it's mental because it legitamtly feels way better to do without it. Even women prefer to go raw. If it wasn't for STDs i think most people would ditch condoms.

Then find a condom guide for fit and try multiple brands. The other thing you can search up is cinnamon oil - read up though - at certain strengths, iirc, it can affect your epithelium. It’s supposed to enhance sensitivity, might be worth a look.

I’ll look into this cinnamon oil. Appreciate the suggestion.

When I was horny lad, it was no problem to reach climax with a raincoat. Nowadays, I prefer bareback oral to condomed vajaya.

I recall The Bill Gates Foundation (i.e., back when the principal was known as the humanitarian humble husband) having a program to try and invent the perfect condom that would make the loss of sensation go down enough so that men would stop going bareback.

I don't think it was successful. :(

Cause ive noticed that most older women dont care about using condoms.
I have a hard time getting dates with women my own age. It’s much easier for me to get girls in their twenties who are looking for a guy with some income.

That's strange because I would think a lot of 35-45 year old women would go wild for a 46 year old man with some income. 30-45 year old women have a way of not lowering their standards despite their looks (what they mainly offer) going downhill.

One of the main ways that a 46 year old man get can attention from women in their 20s is through the use of money.

Why is that relevant to the question?
Her vaginal tightness and lubrication might affect this. It's debatable. A 40 year old woman who has had kids might not have as tight of a vagina, which affects how you slide in it. There's the infamous hot dog in a hallway thing. Most mid-20s women haven't had kids yet.
