That’s weird because height was NEVER an issue when I was in my teens and 20’s. It’s suddenly been an issue with women in my 30’s. Didn’t even know height was a dealbreaker until I hit my mid-30’s. That was the first time it was mentioned to me as an issue. I’ve been rejected harsher by women in their 30’s and for superficial reasons than I ever have women in their 20’s. It’s so weird. Women in their 20’s have been nothing but nice and complementary to me. Women in their 30’s will nitpick and break me down.

How tall are you? Height is a deal breaker if your a midget but just because a few women harshly rejected you for your height doesn't mean anything other than those particular females didn't think you were there type, simple.

And you cry about being rejected for being too short yet have no problem discriminating women for their weight, age, skin color, facial features, odor, sexual history etc. Listen I'm just not attracted to women that possess a certain combination of the above characteristics. But I don't complain about not being for everyone. Certain chicks will like the way I look, dress, behave. Certain chicks wont. It's about meeting (and tryna make it happen) with those that do.

Men don't go around preaching "body positivity".

The hypocrisy of the whole thing is what really grinds my gears. It's like how women advocate against racism yet only date white men while rejecting all the ethnics.

It's simple: If you are shy/self-conscious about your height you might as well be under 5ft. Your own insecurities will make you look short, very short.

Guy I'm currently dating is around 5'10" -- perfect! I'm 5'6".

EDIT: Maybe I shouldn't judge since I prefer the 5'10 - 5'11" guys, again to each her own I suppose.

You are reasonable on height.

These height threads tend to take off because a lot of sub 6'0" men have felt the sting of rejection that seemed to be height-based. Or they read some woman swipe app bio that said "all men under 6'0" swipe left" or heard some female acquaintance or co-worker discuss their refusal to date any man under 6'0".

I always kinda chuckle at women who INSIST on over 6" it's so silly to me, and it's the really shorter women who insist too!

I have noticed that a lot of the women who INSIST on 6'0"+ are on the shorter side. With that said, I'm 5'10" and most women who are 5'10" to 6'1" aren't interested in me due to my lack of height. Taller women can also be finnicky about height. I think most men can accept it when a 5'11" woman refuses to date a 5'9" man. I think men get infuriated when a woman 5'5" or below demands a 6'0"+ man.

A girl I ran into a few months back that I hadn’t seen in about 10 years was blowing away how tall I’d gotten. Her words “you’ve gotten taller since we knew each other, I remember you being short with braces.” Problem is I’ve always been 5’10” even back when I knew her. She just got fatter since I’d last seen her and I guess she misjudged my height lol
