Don Juan
I've dabbled in some articles speaking about the nature and hierarchy of Wolves, with relation and comparison to human tribal alpha and beta hierarchy.
I'm am wondering and hoping we have some other members that are privy to this subject and would like advice and or opinion on a question I have about it, in relation to a suspicion I have about my own childhood and development into the tribe of human adults... more of a attempt to solve a trauma heavy childhood etc.
Q: is there any evidence, research or observation about say; a new family of wolf cubs (brothers), though the births are spread out there is one or two that are a few years older, this (these) one becomes the Alpha of the pack - then there are the little beta new born wolves, the Alpha wants to show his authority/superiority - have the older Alpha wolves ever killed and tormented the smaller pack or one of the wolves... he does not want RISING TO THE TOP - therefore he disables/fks him up/kills him etc?? Jealousy among the wolf family hierarchy....
Hopefully this question/discussion makes sense, ill admit i did not know much about this until now and i fascinated by the observations of wolf packs and relation to our species.
Basically I have a brother - 13 years older than me, he is mostly alpha in attitude and angry, has a very jealous demeanor (little brother is born -- I AM NO LONGER MOTHERS FAVORITE ROOOARR, she loves him - he gets the attention)
I won't turn this into a sob story and drag it on, so down to the nitty gritty --
My father died when I turned 8 years old in a very tragic death--- From that point I had my brother:
1. abusing me through constant personal insult, trying to cut me deep in my psyche whenever he was back in the home unit - me, mother, sister.
2. he started punching me and getting aggressive whenever we were alone - This is a male 13 years older, say at 23 fully grown - beating down his 10 year old little brother.
A little bit WTF Dude when it is written out I guess
I feel like he could sense my quite obvious alphaness coming into my teen years and was afraid and angry if i 'outdo him' - RISE above him perhaps.
So with this context of my life, i hope the Wolf question i am thinking of comes together for you?? maybe?
Appreciate any more discussion and opinion.
