The restaurant industry for example doesn't do background checks. So there is no fear in my head because I know I can get another job performing the same role (and thefore placing myself in the right environment again) somewhere else without worrying even if I do end up fvcking up.

The higher you go up (increased visibility, and expectations for how you are suppose to behave in public (the problem white collar employees face), the less room for error for fvck ups. It's the film director who gets metoo'ed. Not the camera assistant.
