Being attractive pays beyond sexual success...no one gets promoted general if he has a weak jawline or cant fit the role visually.

Good looking and manly men are perceived as winners and treated accordingly.

I never noticed that until you pointed it out but now I cant unsee it lol
CHeck out his eye and cheek area too. Left pic has puffy beta eyes. Right pic has hunter eyes. Left pic has chubby cheeks. Right pic has less rounded cheeks. Pic on the left I'd rate him a 4/10 low tier normie, but he looks a lot better in the right pic. I have no problem with anyone looksmaxing via plastic surgery btw.

I agree for the most part but there are exceptions to the rule. Napoleon Bonaparte was an ugly manlet, but he status mogged everyone into oblivion. Napoleon knew his physical shortcomings and could never understand why women were attracted to him when there were better looking guys around. It was all about status.

He was not a manlet for his time and area, that is a meme.

He was about 1,68cm tall in the early 1800s which was the average height...in countries like spain or portugal the average was even lower.

Sources consequently estimate that Napoleon was probably closer to 5'6” or 5'7” (1.68 or 1.7 meters) than to 5'2”. Although the range may seem short by 21st-century standards, it was typical in the 19th century, when most Frenchmen stood between 5'2” and 5'6” (1.58 and 1.68 meters) tall.

napoleon was not an ugly guy . Neither handsome . He was average

but you see , in those days , status played a super big role in terms of options for men , as most people were poor peasants

Casanova is just as overrated . By reading his memoirs , I realized that most of his lays were based on his middle mobility status

I had the exact same thought. The jaw implants made his eyes appear more alpha.

He seems to have high cheekbones, strong goinal angle for his jaw, short philtrim, hunter eyes, and a good shock of long, flowing hair - all very Chaddish. His incel-tier featurea are his weak nose and perhaps his general gaunt look. Of course, perhaps the portrait artist had done some time travel to listen to FaceAndLMS videos, and draw his subject more flatteringly.

Here's another handsome French-heritage military leader, Pierre Gerard-Toutant Beauregard (his surname literally means "beautiful looking"):
