So this woman i met from Old and have been dating for a short while is demanding that we text more, I only text for logistics and we only meetup on weekends since I don't want to commute on weeknights.

What's the best response to her demands? I'm not sure if I should ignore it since I feel like this will come up again later and I don't really want to text her more than already do.

I usually only do a 15 minute call on friday nights to set up date logistics, she's always texting about useless things and sending memes.

most women want some type of daily contact otherwise i think they feel like booty calls, you just texting them when you want to get laid. Nothing wrong in my opinion with exchanging daily texts, gives you a chance to flirt and escalate and i really believe it increases your odds of first date sex happening if you havent met the woman yet. I know many disagree with that assessment but it has worked well for me. I draw the line on phone conversations, i just tell them i hate talking on the phone and if they still insist i give them a 20 minute time limit.
Gotta give a little of your time here and there or you're gonna be looking for a new GF or plate to spin when a little maintenance would of kept her spinning nicely. You don't have to reply to everything she says and it only take a seconds to shoot her a text. Useless memes would kinda irritate me tho, id tell her i wasnt into that crap

There is no woman in the world who will buy the “sorry I was too busy to text” line (and you shouldn’t buy it from them either). This communicates either low interest or game-playing.

I would simply communicate to her directly up front “hey, I’m not much of a texter and I don’t like text conversations, I’m a dude, but I’ll make an effort to communicate more if that’s what you like.”

That can come off as a little cold depending on the girl. Yes it’s direct, but these are always sent in an effort to build a connection and feel closer to you. If it’s excessive and needy then yes, call it out. I find that not responding to a meme text usually stops more being sent without making further communication with you intimidating for her.

Not too long ago, I casually dated a girl for 3 months. It got to a point where she would be sending me 3 TikTok videos, 3 memes, and old videos of her doing random things every other day.

I prefer taking the direct route with women. I don't get upset and respond. I just, respond.

Something that really stuffs me up with the younger generation (under 25/Gen Z) is just how filled with BS ironic memes/lingo/gifs their messages are. I literally can't communicate with them anymore. I'm getting old...
