The fact that you guys think "it's over for your life" depending on which gender movie characters have, as part of the media and celebrity gossip you partake in, is what would really make me think it is indeed "over" for guys like you. It's especially ironic, because you would simultaneously accuse the people you despise of being fragile snowflakes who cant handle a real problem and being triggered over nothing. And yet threads like these show you are the most frail, sniveling snowflake kids i ever encounter.

Or are you a kind of troll? maybe that's the case, it gets more probable the more i consider it. Because i cant see how someone could genuinely have thoughts and spend their time like this, and also have a healthy mind and life. Then again i cant see that for someone who is a troll either lol.

what is deeply concerning is the bully tactics used by social justice types to meddle.

You know this idea comes from people with a pathological hatred of men and all things male. That’s fine, they’ve always existed and always will, but they’ve spun their pathology into a theory. A theory that they have now crowbarred into educating and media, and are attempting to get it accepted as the norm.

The issue isn’t the film, it’s the quite worrying trend of ideas being torn up and rewritten.

You see, we have laboured under the illusion that strength and achievement, loyalty, honour etc wins the day. Not so now. The current fad is for vulnerable narcissism to win the day. That is, he or she (or zim or zer?) who can show the most grievance or the most oppression wins the day.

students will lap this up. They haven’t developed the skills to actually be anything productive (but of course, feel they do) so they will easily fall prey to an idea of an unfair world dominated by older people who “hold them back”

back to female bond, who cares? I won’t watch it. Sure it’s one of my favourite franchises but if women want to watch their version of bond, so be it. But come on, a female 007? It’s not about the gender of movie character, it’s about the way system works. Fruitbat hit the nail on the head.

A few years ago there was an adult film actress who didn’t want to scenes with gay porn stars unless they got tested first. Twitter ripped her to shreds for making such a request. She killed herself the next day.

Today a female nurse in Canada got beat up while she was vaccinating a woman. The woman’s husband came and punched her in the face. He said ‘You didn’t get MY permission to vaccinate my wife.”

The new culture: can’t make any requests, can‘t impose, can’t offend, can‘t protect your health, can’t be masculine, can‘t judge, can‘t do or say anything without at least one person getting offended.

The whole point of James Bond is that he's the essence of masculinity. Turning him into a woman would be stupid. I also don't really think that you could have a female equivalent, because it wouldn't be realistic.

Think about the characteristics of James Bond: brave, determined, smooth, risk-taking, adaptable, free-thinking, strong, mysterious and skilled in all kinds of different ways. A woman with those characteristics wouldn't be a woman.

Women are passive, they don't take initiative, they follow fashions and rarely think for themselves. When things get scary, they cry and run away.

Funny enough this topic came up the other day and a woman at work brought the whole 'things have moved on, why can;t a woman be bond' argument to the table.

thing is you can say tradition, not right etc but you can;t go much further as you can tell they're waiting to play the 'sexist' card, particularly as in work environment.

subject then moved onto why its more difficult for men to play for england football team, compared to women. my male colleague was saying its harder as literally millions of men play football from young age, where only thousands of women play, so more competition, along with other logic. He then said in the same way its 'easier' for men to represent england at rugby compared to football, as significantly less people play it - just to kind of back up he wasn't be sexist at all. you could tell she was stumped as started saying 'hate it when you talk like that' (even though he was being calm and reasonable) and said shes not having this discussion anymore, tried to make him seem like a **** and create a weird atmosphere. Basically couldn;t argue with his logic so started criticizing the way he was saying it, rather than debate the discussion at hand. We gave each other a knowing smile.

Funny thing is, recently she had argued about keeping the royal family mainly due to tradition, whereas same male colleague said they should go.

haha, yeah, like I say, have to be wary of how far you push it whilst at work (work for global 'mega' corp), so have to know when to leave it or create bigger issues. Wouldn't have an issue saying it outside of work.

Like you say, testosterone is the main difference. Recall saying exactly that to be people before when a debate has came up about women playing against men, after some people say top level women could play football (soccer) against men.

Testosterone means even the elite womens footballers would struggle against most mens Sunday league park teams. A concept some seem to struggle with. Heard the odd idiot on the radio talking about how womens teams should be allowed into the professional game with men - complete joke and lack of understanding.

Which ties in with annoyance at more women commentating on mens football in recent times. 1 women kept bringing subject back to how 'when she played for england' when mentioning men that had played for their country. I'm thinking I don't give a sh1t, no one cares, its not in the same stratosphere. They just seem a bit out of sync with the game and don't quite 'get it', despite playing for years themselves, really annoying. I'd rather they had a football fan from down the pub co commentating tbh.
