Modern women - boring with little to offer, but expecting...what, exactly?

Granted, a lot of the dating has shifted into the online realm, where looks are much more important. But what I'm seeing is vast majority of women on OLD seem extremely boring with not much interests of their own. Granted, some look amazing, and those are the ones that are even more entitled than the others. But the weird thing about it is you message them (they won't message first unless you're a 10), and then no reply. OK, I guess they expect unique opening lines or something. But they give nothing to open with - just one or two basic photos with no description or bio. So what kind of unique opening messages are they expecting us to come up with? Or as the old saying goes, "entertain me, peasant"?

Tinder isn't a place to be humble. Get some pics of you in your best clothes looking dapper af. Flaunt whatever you have that's impressive, make it seem like nbd. It's the bottom tier dating app with no barrier for entry, so expect the most bland, most boring qualities to be the most common.

OLD and nerds are mostly men, you have to get creative. There are apps that are primarily women and the focus isn't dating, but rather communication or some common hobby.

Don’t be so sure. Swipe apps are geared mostly towards professionals and women in professional fields don’t get as much attention as you might think. The me too/sexual harassment scare is real. Fewer and fewer men are willing to put their careers on the line by flirting with someone they know through work and that is especially true in the professional fields.

The only way those women get a lot of IRL attention is if they hang out in clubs or bars a lot and many women do not like meeting men that way. The bottom line is that although this may seem counterintuitive, there are good looking women out there who are not getting a lot of attention, especially not from the type of men they want attention from.

I've never personally been a fan of careerist women, it's something that is incredibly masculine and out of place for a woman. On OLD the only women who seemed to put weight to their career were asian and indian girls.

Most good looking women would at least have a social circle, as long she has a somewhat decent personality.

On OLD they are swamped with attention from low value men, it makes them bitter and jaded. It's not a healthy environment for anyone to be in.

Yea, I will agree. Their entitlement is ridiculous. Reason being, a female, any female, 49ers, average, and above average can get any dude it seems. So, there really isn't a reason why they shouldn't have a lower self-worth in the dating marketplace. I've seen females, like 200 + lbs with dudes who are thin and in shape. women do not care about men, they care about what men can do for them. you ask a woman why she is self improving it will always be herself, she would never say "to bag a top man"

I am still amazed how many guys opt for OLD and fail to recognize how toxic it is and what it cultivates in the dating world/intergender dynamics/female empowerment/etc.

Questions about OLD should not be taken seriously anymore. If you use it and it works, great, if you use and complain, that's on you.

But to your point, yes. That is a well-known issue in modern dating. These women with nothing to offer have unrealistic expectations. Society has cemented the idea that beauty adds value and therefore they can just sit back and relax. The core problem is that simps and thirsty men fall for that and that enables their entitlement and lazy attitude.
