Lot of these claims of what is allegedly happening are rather bold and a bit unbelievable so I'm wondering if anyone here can give any confirmation and clarification on any of it.

1. Extreme forced lockdown with no due process?
2. Children forcibly vaccinated?
3. Concetration of those who test positive?
No to all of them and I'm in Australia, to get a vaccine you need to book it weeks or even months in advance. People who test positive are told to self isolate in their homes but for new arrivals from overseas they go to hotel quarantine.

We are having thousands of cases a day, this is in a city of only 5 million so the lockdown is needed.

A quick humour warning: I have added some humour particularly in my more recent posts. But there is also an important element of truth! Please check the links if you are interested and I will attempt to post details when I can. But do look for indications of humour, irony etc.

It is rather odd that this forum is actually as good as it is on the questions relating to covid and the related vaccines. Far more nerdy forums, which, for instance, don't ban members, since they seem to have a higher regard for freedom of speech, seem to be nonetheless very much dominated by the groupthink that surrounds these topics. I can't think of any Australian forums where it would make sense to discuss these topics.

So, I might try to post a separate thread dealing specifically with the questions I now face concerning choosing which vaccine
(AstraZenica and Pfizer are the only alternatives at this point) and just how to engage taking it.

Well the shot isn’t doing it. The path forward is treatments. Many multitudes have been saved by treatments. People with the shot have died. It doesn’t work. Pfizer CEO clearly stated that the immunization will very likely create mutated strains.
There are some doctors who haven’t lost a single patient with proper treatment.

Swiss never shut down and didn’t loose a single child. Shut downs were the biggest mistake in history.
Do you have a legitimate source for the pfizer ceo saying that?

Switzerland did shut down, why are you making things up now?

1% of the worlds population is 80 million, are you okay 80 million people losing their lives?
That survival rate assumes you have modern interventions and the original strain and you are not in an at risk category. Then there is long haul covid where your quality of life is so drastically impaired that you might as well be.

Treatments can be very expensive and limited and only priviledged people may have access to the best ones. The vaccines are like less than $40 per shot (government pays for it so its free) and is the most equitable solution within racially and economically stratified first world countries to deal with the virus (except if you get a bad side effect).

This is completely back to front. Repurposed drugs have been suppressed precisely because they are out of patent and so cheap to
produce. They are of no value at all to big pharma. Indeed, Merc recently denigrated the very drug that they brought to market, Ivermectin, with no evidence to back up their claims of course.

@corrector
My cursory understanding of your circumstances is that you have a mother, who is I don't know how old (obviously older than you), who is unvaccinated. I have no idea if this is actually the case, but, if it is the case, and she is going to remain unvaccinated you definitely need to access these alternatives treatments immediately. This is because early treatment is absolutely essential and, as I said, they have been suppressed and so can be difficult to get hold of. Could you please clarify this so that I can try to help if that seems the right course of action.

That is, is she in a high risk group, especially due to her:
. age
. co-morbidities (eg. obesity, diabeties etc)?

I wrote the previous post in some haste. I certainly don't mean to be intrusive. Obviously, you should also be considering your own welfare re the risk of covid at this point.

I'm certainly not medically trained but there are resources out there to help you which I could try to outline to you, if you would like me to. As I said, time is of the essence, also because the delta variant is both faster and more contagious than the alpha, if perhaps less lethal. Anyway, I'm very busy myself right now.

Unless of course you are saying the virus is man made. Then we have a real problem
Of course it's man made, it's common knowledge that it came from a Wuhan Lab.

I wouldn't be surprised if China is behind this anti vax misinformation campaign to divide up the west and stop them from fighting the virus which they unleashed upon the world.

Yep, it has a high probability of being biological warfare…
It nothing but the flu Americans, you no need the vax, you crazy …
Biological combined with a propaganda misinformation campaign on social media and forums designed to kill people without actual physical warfare …

Funny thing is Australia requested an independent inquiry for the origins of the virus. The first thing China did was sanction Australia as a response.

That tells you everything you need to know.

Instead of the world holding China accountable, they continue to fight amongst themselves

Concerning this virus origin, China is an information stonewall to All other nations.

I respect my elders. Especially those who served in the military. They have contributed more to society than most people under 30.
You misunderstand my point. When I'm 83 I'll be frantically seeking the exit to this sh1tty 'life'.
I'm not particularly endeared by it now at 48 if I'm honest. I'm just too young and fit to be susceptible
to anything which might see off an elderly person. I don't really enjoy my time on this planet, I'm pretty
much done with it all now. After another 35 years of this BS I'll be glad to bow out for any reason I can.

You never know how you might feel at 83. You might want to be able to get up and enjoy one more cup of coffee.
I have a friend who has been suicidal most of his life, and was always talking about how he wanted to get some terminal disease so he could get off this planet. Clinically depressed. More recently he's been worried about catching Covid, all of a sudden he's decided he wants to live.

Well it’s unlikely to get any better as I continue to age, is it?
