Not sure if it's just me, but does anyone else get bad hangovers from drinking two or more different beer types throughout the night?

I had about 6 last night.

Two Yuengling, then three of another lite beer at a brewery and than half of another kind when I got home.

I have a splitting headache and feel nausea as I write this.

Not a great idea. Mixing beer and liquor is worse. First drink of liquor is always better.

Quantity of drinks matters most.

Pro advice,
First rule of drinking, the only thing you mix is liquor and your favorite mixer.
No this beer/that beer, No bourbon/vodka, No beer/liquor, and nothing on top of champagne …

I almost always get a splitting headache if I mix beers. For me it's worse with craft beer. I've stuck to liquor only the past couple years now for that reason. Liquor can still give me a random headache but far less common than beer.

Well we were pre-gaming so I really couldn't avoid different beer types since we went to a brewery after. Lesson learned

It's the draft beer. They don't clean the inside of the beer taps, so they are a breeding ground for bacteria.
And I don't like beer in a can. Draft beer is 50/50, looks like bottles are your safest bet.

People marvel over me when I drink... I switch drinks all the time. I will go from ipa... to lager.... to wine.... etc. I do not get hungover often and somehow can keep switching drinks with no consequences. Most people... scratch that... everyone else I know will be miserable the next day if they mix it up.

Take an old man's advice: before heading out to get sloshed, put a 16oz glass of water and 2 ibuprofen on your nightstand.

If you're conscious before you pour yourself into bed take the ibuprofen and drink the whole glass of water.

You can thank me later ;)
