First of all, forget about the straw man arguments. Yes, being physically fit will help compared to being a fat slob who is 100 pounds overweight, or compared to a troll living under a bridge pushing around a shopping cart full of stolen items from dumpster diving.
Consider a more realistic comparison. Will a jacked/ripped guy fare better in dating compared to a man of average or slightly above average athletic fitness?
As a reference point, in my profession (and occasionally in social circles), I've met quite a few Div. 1 athletes in elite high profile sports programs. I've also met a number of pro athletes, and a shockingly large percentage in both groups don't have girlfriends and have moderate success at best in dating.
Even in pro sports, most teams are in less glamorous markets such as Kansas City or Oklahoma City or Milwaukee where there are few if any opportunities to exploit a "groupies scene." Not to mention probably 95% of college athletes are in low profile schools most people have never heard of.
When these guys walk around on campus, 95% of the time, they are completely anonymous. The students you see cheering their heads off at games are more interested in partying and getting drunk with friends and have absolutely no clue who the players actually are. The tailgating before games and bar crawls after are the biggest draws, not the players themselves.
If elite D1 athletes who are the best athletes of their age group can walk around in total anonymity close to 100% of the time, and if only a few dozen professional athletes regardless of sports are actually recognizable, then how are they being magically out gamed by some anonymous random muscle-head schmuck on so suave?
I've seen recently retired pro athletes who are household names out in clubs, as well as hall of famers, and all they can attract are random women with boyfriends who only want a photo before walking off without so much as a thank you.
Don't be an idiot. Getting jacked/ripped isn't a magic formula for getting instant lays. It's just some random horsesh-t by a sosuaver desperate for virtual 'likes.'
