I found this feminist BS:
And most women do not want to choose a man based on his bank account. Their financial independence allows them to choose someone based on kindness, intelligence, ambition, humor, and loyalty. But here is the rub — most men are emasculated by the woman who can pay her own bills. They don’t want that independent woman.
What on earth is she talking about?
Why would a man see it as a disadvantage that she can pay her own bills? Does she think being a financial parasite is some kind of benefit to a man? Isn't being able to pay your own bills a basic expectation for everyone living in a prosperous western country these days? Not living in a cardboard box is hardly some kind of huge intimidating achievement.
I think the real reason that she's bringing this up is to avoid the harsh truth which is the real reason that men don't want her - because she's over 35. She thinks that her money or her career can compensate for the fact that she's hit the wall head first, but it can't. She thinks that because money attracts women it will also attract men. But we have our own jobs and our own careers, we're not looking for someone to pay our way in life (which most women wouldn't be willing to do anyway).
The reason successful men don't want her is because she's old. Successful men have choices, and they can date women that are younger and hotter. It's not that they are intimidated by her career or her money - they just don't care about it. It's irrelevant, because men (especially successful men) are not looking for women to look after them financially.
Why is Finding a Good Man so Hard for Single Women Over 35?
The answer is found in the Eligible Bachelor Paradox
