Beauty is a very fluid commodity. It is universally very difficult to capture and define.
15 years ago, the mainstream beauty standard was a very slim woman, but now the big booty is the new mark to hit. But my topic is an offshoot of this.

Over the years, I have encountered the “beautiful imperfections” phenom. Women with flaws that make them super attractive. My first girlfriend as a teen had a very pronounced lisp she was insecure about. Man i would go weak every time she spoke.
Her imperfection was so sexy it became her winning ticket.

The girlfriend i had in 2008 had a chipped front tooth that enhanced her beauty. Each time she smiled my system would go haywire.
I bumped into her 3years after we broke up and the chipped tooth was gone, it had been fixed. Although she still looked pretty, she had lost that oomph, that winning ticket.

Im sure Im not the only one who has encountered beautiful imperfections. Feel free to share

Roman noses aka "Aquiline" got me stirred up as a lad in my Teen years. I think because they tend to be more common on slender women.

Also narrow hips. Mainly because I was self conscious of carrying my weight in my thighs and butt.

Photo for an example:

In my 20s i dated an Italian bird that had an acquiline nose. I didnt particularly pay much attention to the nose. What stood out on her were her unusually huge calves, bigger than mine by miles. She had been a ballerina from a very young age and built up an impressive pair of calves. Being a young guy full of life and character, I enjoyed doing really random fun stuff with her, like pulling out and nutting on her big calves. The most colourful relationship i ever had.

One of the most attractive (facially) girls I dated had large calves and Cankles as well. Her facial attractiveness has held up well from what I see on social media.

Thanks for sharing this!

The definition of beauty is a construct. It is also subjective, and like you said fluid.

Humans are beautifully imperfect. Period.

Beauty is objective. We have beauty pageants and modeling for a reason. Personal tastes are what is subjective.
Beauty pageants are rigid competitions that fail miserably at capturing beauty. They reduce beauty into a clipboard checklist compiled by fat old men who just happen to have money and a platform. Whoever is crowned Miss New York isnt the most beautiful woman in NYC, but the most “beautiful” out of those on stage on the day, and according to the very narrow criteria on the Fat Old Bloated Men’s score sheet. If you throw enough money and visibility at anything, people will buy into whatever narrative you are selling.

I agree and with feminists taking out the swimsuit category, there is absolutely no reason for any guy to watch it. It's basically women supporting other women and voting for them and making them feel good.

Miss New York 2020 is beautiful. No need to soapbox.

Incredibly naive post.... Did the "Big is Beautiful" movement convince men that obese women are beautiful....????....

Did the "Sexuality is a spectrum" movement persuade straight men to start having sex with gay men (which was the end goal of the movement)....???...

Sexual attraction and beauty are primal instincts that cannot be influenced regardless of how much money or propaganda is pumped out...

"Big is Beautiful"
"It takes a REAL MAN to love a Big Girl."
"Why I vetted my wife's affair"
"Is Success an Illness?"

As if billions of $$$ of lame social programming could ever overturn 200,000 years of evolutionary instinct.... humans are hardwired to find the most genetically fit individuals attractive...

Sorry boyos, y'all coping. Beauty is NOT fluid, there is a general standard of beauty that's universally accepted by all humans. Of course, there will be outliers that find certain features sexually desirable (fat girls, bald men, short stocky men etc), but those individuals are in the minority.

15 years ago if your woman asked you “does my bum look big in this outfit?”, the safest answer was “absolutely no way, it doesnt babe”

Today if your girl asks the very same question, she is hoping you say “oh yes baby, you are looking bootylicious! You got cakes for days babe!” even if her ass is as flat as a door.
Go to any social media platform and see every girl trying to twist her body for that perfect booty shot, thanks to the Kardashians.

Beauty standards are constantly shifting

'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder' and as long as mankind has trod the earth "the big booty" is 'the mark to hit'!

Nah mayne, a big booty has always been regarded as attractive. Marylin Monroe was actually a thick girl and the vast majority of men find her attractive. That's why they call it "child-bearing hips" because it's an evolutionarily desirable trait because it increases the likelihood of a successful birth.

Conversely, fashion runway models all have that lanky anorexic look that most men do not find attractive... regardless of how much fashion shows want to pump out that particular look, most men will not find it attractive and most women don't have that body type. The vast majority of women have a curvaceous body type because of an evolutionary pressure to select for that body type...

Winnie Harlow is a fine example of Wabi-sabi, which is the view or thought of finding beauty in every aspect of imperfection in nature. It is about the aesthetic of things in existence, that are “imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete”.

She is nice. Her look is so unique it teases and confuses the senses in a tasty way.
