Even before the pandemic, kindness was the top trait that men and women wanted in a romantic partner. And the importance of kindness seems magnified now, in how people portray themselves and in what they are looking for in a partner. In my own dating, I’ve seen more signals of kindness on men’s profiles since the pandemic.
When I see jerk Chads getting dumped in favor of kind incel-tier men, then I'll buy this article.

There's a difference between being nice and being kind that many don't realize. Being nice is simple, easy and superficial. Being kind is a lot harder. Incel-tier men are acting nice, but they are not kind, they are driven exclusively by selfish motives. What separates them from a sociopath is that the incel basically suck at fooling anyone with their niceness.

A Chad trying rack up many scores isn’t selfish? Or is he kind because he’s providing free orgasms to women?

In all fairness, I don’t think most niceguycels are trying to fool any chicks by being nice. They just don’t feel comfortable being direct with women because they (quite understandably) fear that it will not be well received.

They are caught in a lose-lose situation. Be direct and potentially be branded a creeper. Or be indirect ie “nice” and be friendzoned.

Or be in a Beta-in-Waiting so that when she gives up her chase of Chad, she'll be able to move into her mothering phase of life.

I love all the predictions of how the pandemic has changed our behavior and how it will have a lasting impact when it is over. In my opinion those predictions are rubbish. When the pandemic is over people will go back to their old ways very quickly.

From a dating perspective a lot of women will want to make up for lost time in the bedroom and it will be with the top tier guys again. Them guys are going to be busy. The bulk of men that were struggling with women pre pandemic will struggle again post pandemic.

During the pandemic I have made changes to myself, lost some weight, been lifting weights and I’ve done a lot of reading about game, dating and relationships. I guess when the pandemic is over I will see if I can put that theory into practice. At least I feel like I have used this time to improve myself, maybe that is the permanent change that the pandemic will have made.

Of course, since COVID has interrupted their "schedule of mating" (as Rollo puts it), there has been an "epidemic" of egg-freezing.
my opinion: It's time to man up and fap for these gals, boys. Now you don't get any action after or before knocking them up.

I believe that this pandemic will be more impactful. The airport and flying experience permanently changed after 9/11.

This was worse than 9/11 and the Great Recession. 9/11 was a breeze compared to this. Outside of NYC and Washington DC, there was just a minimal ongoing recession. When 9/11 hit, the country was already in a recession due to the dot com bubble bursting, but that recession was not a big deal compared to 2008 and COVID.

If there is a recovery, which is unclear now, I believe that there will be a window of opportunity that will last something like 3 months where women will attempt to make up for lost time. Instead of the top of 20% men doing well, it might expand to the top 30%. However, you're right that the bulk of men struggling pre-pandemic will encounter issue in a post-pandemic era.

Only a smaller percentage can afford egg freezing.
