Is it still a good idea to resell supplements? Like creatine, whey protein, etc...

I thinking of invest some money on it as a secondary source of income. Nothing physically, just a instagram for this store and everything online, but local in my town.

Yes, especially in Brazil where it costs your fellow man an arm and a leg to buy supplements. It makes it easier when you know a lot about these products you are selling too. People ask me about what to take and what do I take daily, I tell them to pull up a chair because I end up educating them all.

There are tons of stories online about how this is a bad idea. It's especially bad if they push referrals as the main stream of income rather than the actual supplement selling.

Before sinking any money into it you should at least gauge the demand and get some back orders.

Clever marketing will be your biggest success if you go down this path.
Logo, Key Phrases, Big online marketing and blogs(IG, FB, Youtube), testimonials, reviews. Just start looking for fit guys/gals.

There are no miracle drugs or supplements that are 10x better than others. It mainly boils down to marketing.

Case in point. In my city, just having these catch phrases plastered over a restaurants window will attract and bring in all the millenials that spend most of their money on nice foods and services. "Cage free, Non GMO, Organic, Free Range, Gluten Free, Locally Sourced, Grass Fed, etc." There's always suckers that fall for those catch phrases everytime. LOL

Gonna look for that. But I have some doubts on this field... Thats why I didnt try yet.

Im afraid of my freelancer job as designer doesnt give me enough money. Last month I made about R$700 to R$800 reais... I need at least 3k to pay my bills and have a decent life.

Sometimes I feel afraid of not being capable of living only of this. And I dont want to go back to my parents and ask for help.

The ones that fail are the ones that never try. It doesn't hurt to try but start off modest and scale as necessary. Don't put everything you own into it until it grows proportionally.

Just remember having a strong brand and marketing will separate yourself out from the rest.

Establish relationships/deals with suppliers for the actual supplements and start thinking about packaging ideas as well.

If you aren't making bills you should look for work that pays you, not for business ventures that involve initial investment.

Starting a business is an investment. The more comfortable you are financially before you start, the more you can invest and the more likely the business will succeed.

When you are comfortably making your bills, then consider this kind of volatile risky stuff. For now find things that will pay you ASAP. Offer to wash or clean cars or houses for money, anything. Market yourself.

Reduce expenses where you can. When you are making bills and stable you'll have more peace of mind, which will allow you to be more creative and flexible for business ideas.

Thats true.

I thought to start very slow... maybe $1000 or $2000 of investment. Everything online and see how it goes.

But have to think better, Im getting without time to risk stuffs. Have to at least be convict that it can give me some financial return.

If you're buying it on amount it should be a lot more cheaper than it's actual price. I think supplements are very low in price in Ukraine as I heard.

My friend was getting it from there and selling it in Zagreb for almost triple the price so it can definitely work our if you play cards well.

The thing is in my town they pay really bad for jobs. And you have to work as a slave. In this scenario is better to keep growing my social media design business... cause they pay something like R$1100,00 reais for some jobs in my town. And some high paid jobs is fcking difficult to get in, and they are almost all in the capitals.

I tried a lot of the UX/UI Designer field... I lost my count of how many resumes I sent to those places. None of them returned.

I have to say, all that time I worked in my parent's company... All that it did to me was to fck my career. I went to a field I didn't like, cause my dad forced me to do that (or manipulated) and it froze me on time. Also, I have to deal with the fact that when they ask me my previous job when I say I worked for a family's company... It seems they doubt why I fired myself from there. Like, I was the one who did a stupid thing and my father fired me. That pisses me off.

Idk how, but I have to find a way. Maybe I'm just anxious or afraid cause I didn't make much money last month with design, but its something that is growing up slowly.

Gonna check some suppliers from Ukraine, and how much it can cost to send it to Brazil. Maybe even with taxes it can worth.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
