I don't feel old, my age is "old" but then again I think a wise well built 40's with good money is hard to beat. So when I say "old" i'm joking. Women do tax you for your age number, cause when i'm in my best shape, guys in their mid 20's, 30's are less fit most of them less fit, but the ladies hear my number and mentally tax me a bit. Makes me feel like I have to win some body building or fitness titles or something.
go
go win them then

you know you're capable

but do not do it for them.

Do it for yourself.
For memory of your grandma who would've liked to see that.

You used to be heavier and you lost weight fairly quickly.
You're disciplined enough to do the intermittant fasting (for precomp cutting?)and you may actually be quite symmetrical and have the potential to win.

Posing is big to win first place.
Ever try learning posing with a pro photographer/videographer?

Funny thing about guys that win titles....its always about multiples.
Arnold is 7x Mr. Olympia not just one.
Ernestine Shepherd had to run almost 10 marathons, not just one.
If that's addictive, well, is that so bad to be addicted to and passionate about as your purpose?

I wouldn't do pro's because i don't want to be 300+ lb all muscle, but amatuer and fitness is cool. But i'm considering. It's good to compete in your hobbies and interests, makes for a more interesting life.

My ironworker teacher encouraged us to compete. I'm just not win-oriented. More goal completion oriented. Which, I guess, is a form of competition with yourself.
I get a bigger kick out of seeing others win.

Once again, swinging back to the themes of this forum, its why I always bow out and let other girls take the guy/my guy. He was never really mine, it was just my turn.
What's laughable is the disappointment I sense from girls when they see I'm not going to play their compete for-the-guy games. I can't even feign it mrgoodstuff.
Competition belongs on the court or on the diamond or on the water or maybe the stage.

I met Shawn who started the IDFA here in Canada when they came to this city a few years ago.
He said the people you surround yourself with can hold you back or propel you forward. (sound familiar? you and others on SoSuave gave me same wisdom earlier this year, thanks again)
Those physiques were nice. Both men and ladies' divisions look very smooth and taut muscled. Like a smoother miniature version of the Olympias.
Very exciting.

That show that Staticus will hopefully still do in June may produce pics for this thread. I'd @ him but not everyone responds to that here in the forum so I feel I'm being too unusual socially when I do that.

Thing about it is if he chose you there is nothing to "compete" for. I too won't pay those tit-for-tat back and forth games with babes who like to go back and forth. If it's mines it's mines if it's not it's not.

And the reason I mentioned Amatuer BB or Fitness, is because I'm cool "winning" at those levels. I have zero need or desire to be 300+ lb of muscle, fat or anything else, which is required to compete in the pro's.

230-250lbs completely shredded, cross striated, etc is great and compatible with some of my other objectives.

sweet!

The last guy: I chose him, pursued him etc.
I knew deep down it wouldn't last. Ugh, not polite to type out, but I was more alpha than him. I just didn't have the leadership skills to maintain the ship's course without him taking over. He tried, I regret some of the things I said to him.

Men are supposed to choose relationships; women, sex.
Yes, I know platespinning men wait for the woman to broach the subject of relationships, but its the man that's the decisionmaker/gatekeeper of relationships.

Sorry, I always circle back to my healing.

The following sounds the same..... but I didn't join SoSuave for self improvement only(accountability for appearance and moods)but I joined for self improvement(learn more game to make social circles and approach "out-of-my-league"; learn emotional detachment and ability to use more clear, rational logic in decisionmaking. Learn how to stop feeding the princess inside of me and learn how to be braver to set boundaries in relationships.)

Solipsistically speaking, every post and thread and quoted reply etc. are tools for me to track lessons for myself and my growth organically; rather than a Day 1, Day 2 type field report journal.
Thank you for reading and as always, I'm grateful for the gift of decency and respect.
I really needed this.

Not sure who needs to hear this, but something I've been doing for the past year is having 2 raw eggs every morning. Easy 12g protein, will usually eat a banana and then a protein shake, and usually that is my "breakfast". Raw eggs sounds gross at first, but I actually like it. Put it in a glass cup, pour a tiny bit of salt and pepper, and a tiny dash of A1 steak sauce (or could use hot sauce if you prefer), and then chug it like you're taking a shot of whiskey. Bam, easy protein in 2 seconds, and you didn't have to cook sh!t.

Sweet spot muscle mass for 184cm 6' man would be 200lbs reduce/plus 10lbs for +/- 1 inch of height.

Thats true. Im a heavy lifter, push up wont cut for me it will just putting me in fatigue crash and athrophy will be unavoidable anyway without proper workout routine.
Not really. Muscle mass is surprisingly easy to keep as long as you are doing some type of training. Or you have built up enough really deep muscle mass through things like very heavy weight training or very heavy static holds over a long period of time. That becomes almost permanent. Had a situation where I had to stop lifting for close to a year and because of that I lost surprisingly little muscle mass.

But bodyweight workouts can be exceptionally challenging if done properly.

Don't believe me? Try supersetting 5 sets of 30 second wall sits with 30 BW squats and report back on how your legs are feeling the next day.

Also things like functional training can be surprisingly easy to do with minimal equipment. Order an old army duffel bag off amazon and buy 100 lbs of sand. Zip tie the top and you have a ready made sand bag you can do all kinds of extremely challenging workouts with.

Yeah and that require a resistance equipmentwhich may set me back for few days/weeks. My last order of bench set with recliner got cancelled for no reason after few weeks of waiting.. Fvck these people who only realize need to workout after being force living at home.. Gym enthusiasts like us has to be in queue with these meeks.

Been using adjustable resistance bands, a 35 lb dumbbell that I had prior to the virus, and cement blocks. On top of that, filled 2 buckets with cement, made a hole on top of each lid, attached a hardwood round dowel, and basically made my own 60 lb barbell (which cost me only $20), which isn't a lot but combining this equipment with bodyweight exercises and supersets makes for some excellent workouts. It's all about adapting boys.

More "alpha" than him means what? Most women do have greater leverages available to them than men that they can use to position themselves over their men. The only people who would have a chance would be people who can "bend the laws", such as a police man, local liked politician or a gangster who will kill you.

Does more "Alpha" mean always having to be in charge or trying to get control? Because if Bill Gates was my boss when microsoft started, I'd be a multi millionare many times over. If 99.999% of us where able to power our way over the top of him, to strip and marginalize him to feel better about ourselves and be his boss instead, we'd both by making a regular paycheck. Your not supposed to be the "head" of everything.

Alot of this site has evolved into self improvement and understanding true social dynamics.

Day 1, Day 2 like Nick does is useful. After a certain amount of time it may prove useful to not talk here or anywhere else like it. An experienced person doing well enough may post occasionally to provide guidance to newer members or members who have gotten stuck into a bad position.

Just ordered 40,45,60 kg all set of dumbells i used to had at my gym.. See how it goes..
A local gym is allowing rentals of some of it's equipment, I'm going to call over. Theres about 3-4 main dumbell sizes that i use just like you. Even if I could get one dumbell size in this corona I'd be able to maintain a few of my body parts.

If they trashed them for years, those businesses are toast. I'm going to eventually have everything in my residence to do my thing including a legit squat rack, lat pull and row attachment, adjustable dumbbells, etc, etc. So now during the day i'll have an option to get a set in or a pump up at any minute.

Thats great, the end of purchase would be the crosstrainer machine for cardio.. But that would cost a gold bar. Urrgghh long way to go.
