I rented a W222 S500 (S550 to the Yanks) for a week and the performance was interesting. It was the prefacelift with the larger V8 biturbo (no hot V or reverse induction flow outside-to-inside) and RWD only.



Felt like a locomotive. The way it constantly gathered speed was addictive. A great highway therapy was to stamp your foot for five seconds and watch the armada of 1.2 litre yoghurt pots around you disappear in the mirror. Sounded brawny too.

Otherwise I felt like a chauffeur without a client. The back seats are where it's at in these barges.

I drive a 10+ year old economical piece of **** because I have zero interest in being a parking lot star.

Plus I live within walking distance of the bars/clubs/restaurants in my area. The car is used to get to and from work, and thats it.

I saw his license plate and it was colorado. Maybe its a demographic thing because if he brought that car to Wisconsin he'd probably see action. dunno? sweet car though

If you 20 -28 bmw
If you 35-45 Bugatti, pagani, sls & phantom
45 -50 Lexus
If you 50 Honda or volvo
If you 60-70 buy 911 or Ferrari because only then you can enjoy it without thinking how cool you look in it
80-90 volvo
100 tesla

So if you looking for a long term investment and you approaching 40 buy a used honda, wait 20 years and then buy tesla
or buy a new ferrari/volvo if you dont plan to live any longer then 90

In the UK most women cream themselves over luxury trucks. Range Rover, leather interior and heated massage seats. It's game over.

I've never driven as an adult but getting a beemer later this year. Going to be interesting to see what impact it has on the ladies.

Any card that shows Status/Wealth/Succes/Standout of the norm... will attract a chick. Which kind... I guess it depends on the car.

Anyhow... if the girl comes from a Wealthy family with access to 300k+ cars... car wont matter... so go motorcycle!
