I'm one of them though as I'm still too scared to simply show my intent with girls, it's getting better though.

But the reason I think this is because most people are so scared now. Men who I thought had their stuff together, have been freaking out and saying stuff like "this is never gonna end, we're doomed".

I don't get it, this time next year everyone will be in the same rut again. All will be fine in the end, and even if I get the virus and would die, so be it. But I'm actually having a great time. My country is on a partial lockdown, we can still go out if we want but social encounters with more than 3 people are forbidden. So I thought today I'd go on a road trip since the weather was very nice and there's barely any traffic. Put on some music, rolled down the windows and cruised a long. At lights you could tell people were looking at me and thinking "how can he be enjoying himself, the world is on the brink of destruction, we're all gonna die", and I freaking loved it.

Realized as well a lot of people are very selfish. And in a sense I get it, if there is no food, I'll fight and kill to provide for my family as well. But there is no need now, yet so many people are literally buying the shops empty because they're scared. Fine it's a primal instinct, but they just don't get it.

I do realize I do feel kinda good now because I'm a slight introvert, but I do hope the coming days can make me realize I can be this as well when everything is normal again.

Land of slow.
Well according to some research the testosterone affects how we react to being sick. And that the testosterone makes us less resistant to our estrogen based counterparts.

I'm scared too, not because of the virus itself but for the implications given that I have to travel once in a while and meet people quite often.

Now most european nations are deleting flights and closing airports and some of them even had to close restaurants, cinemas and gyms...the sh1t storm coming unless we fix it within a month will require the european central bank to go helicopter money just like the fed, except that there are 20 captains on this ship when it comes of taking decisions and few of them can silence the others.

The only positive thing is that I have no investment but plenty of cash to get in when we are on the lowest point.

It's not that it's Corona or a pandemic outbreak that causes the males to become more feminine, it's because of social culture. Males do not have to be males anymore. Females do not need males for protection or to provide. Things that made tough males are put down on in the 21st century. Tobacco (source: https://blog.umzu.com/health/testos...erone-tobacco-and-its-effect-on-your-manhood/), masculinity, fighting, taking care of family, building a family, taking care of your spouse/partner, etc. Since feminism has made females nearly equal as males, males are seen as sperm donors and are pushed aside after the deed is done. Gov't has stopgaps in helping children and single mothers. Police protect and keep the peace. It is what it is.

Be different. Make your own path.

If you aren't worried about it then you're pretty ignorant or isolated
Why worry so hard as to become scared?

Look, I don’t want my mother to get it and any family members who are 60+. And yes, this is a serious test for our health system and especially our solidarity feeling and acting.

If we all just do social distancing for a while, we’ll come out of this stronger, hopefully. Especially those who realize it.

Look at China, they’re almost over it. 81k infections on a population of 1,38 billion people.

This virus sucks as it’s completely new, but it might harbour a welcome change.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Being mindful of the risks and taking precautions isn’t the same as worry.

Worry is prayer of creation too. Worrying creates that which is not wanted.

All most people are is mindful. if anything they aren't mindful enough based on what I see outside. Every attention hore that was out partying every single night in February is now attention whoring their quarantine in March lol
People see what they want to see.

Yes men have become softer and more feminine so yes there are a lot more pussies than before. The media making this out to be the Spanish flu pandemic of 1918 is not helping. This is why in another thread I said that the only real worry I have is not the virus itself but the panic that it is causing. I have multiple doctors in my family and I asked one of them what he thought of this virus and he said it is much ado about nothing , it is slightly worse than the regular flu. I will say this , the virus has created some issues for me but also some opportunities that I am planning on taking advantage of.

That’s straight up scary - when you have MD’s. being willfully ignorant. Get the facts.

The land of improvement
You’ll be surprised how many “tough nuts” are usually the biggest puss out there . The biggest example of my life was when i joined the army for a year . Like 7 out of 10 guys were pussies .Thought it was funny but in reality it wasn’t. No wonder women complain where the real men gone !!

Concerning the virus, the only thing that worries me is how all that is going to effect my businesses. I don’t give a sh#t if i got infected or not considering the mortality rate in the country that I’m living is less than 0,5%

I'm not afraid. I'm just p1ss3d that a bunch of my plans have been postponed.

On the upside I am taking advantage and buying some good stocks at a bargain.

the virus exists in warm climate areas like malaysia which has had 90+ degree weather with about 60% humidity.

this whole exercise is meant to 'flatten the curve' so the hospitals aren't flooded and people get the care they need.

yes, we could just let the virus burn through but at the cost of 4 million people in the US in a few months?

Americans make up 4.4% of the world's population. If we extrapolate these numbers to the rest of the world (warning: MOE is high here), this gives us 90 million deaths globally from COVID-19, in 3-6 months. 15 Holocausts. 1.5 times as many people as died in all of World War II.

@Ohso-Phresh willfully ignorant? This doctor and the other doctors in my family including an epidemiologist have actually worked in third world countries on disease outbreaks with diseases that have higher mortality rates than this virus. If they tell me that it's no big deal I am going to take their word over the stupid cvnts in the media. The doctors in my family have forgotten more about medicine then you and the retards in the media. By the way the U.S. population is in the hundreds of millions and so far we haven't hit 200 deaths. Yeah looking at those numbers it's definitely time to panic.

I hear you, my son-in-law is an internal medicine specialist at a large hospital. He is of the same opinion as your medical family members.
I would rather believe trusted and highly trained medical professionals than anonymous social media sources and mainstream media trying to peddle fear…
They really are pvssies or have an agenda that’s not in our best interest.

Well Italy has 60 million people and over 3000 deaths so far, and that number is set to rise exponentially every day for the foreseeable future, despite our absolute 99.99% efforts at complete, utter social isolation.

We're moving into a warlike economy and have implemented a raft of emergency measures, including having to beg, borrow and steal ventilators from Europe and China, all so doctors don't have to decide who gets a shot at life and who gets abandoned to die in ICU wards so overcrowded that patients are bedded down in corridors and from today, tents.

Thousands of medical school students will never take their final exams; as of now, they're all officially doctors and they're expected to enter our hospitals and get straight to work, with no guarantee of seeing their families for weeks or more.

So excuse me if I laugh at those foreign "experts" who call this a common cold. 3000 people do not die of a common cold in two weeks.

I fully agree with the fact that media and social media tend to exaggerate the facts. They thrive and make profit on attention and the best way to get that is due to spreading (overly) dramatic news. My company got into the news a couple of months back. I'm in high management and knew what was going on for the most part. It was strange to see that what the media said was like 95% untrue. I'm not exaggerating, but it was an eyeopener. Our guess is they just do this to put the public opinion against us and get more attention (clickbait etc).

But nonetheless, it must be said that the hospitals are being flooded with patients at the moment. Many more people than usual are dying. Although I'm not a doctor and don't know anyone who is in the medical field, it's hard to believe that pictures of lines of trucks carrying dead people in Italy are made up. The only thing I tend to believe is the media exaggerating this thing a little bit, just to make the people scared so they adhere to the social distancing implied by the government. Not a bad thing though. It appears to be very contagious. But then again, I base my facts on the media...

What I don't like is that it is the only thing people are talking about. Just take it how it is, continue with your life, albeit isolated at this moment. Whatsapp group chats are lit up with things and memes about this virus, people complaining etc. Sure some memes are funny, but I tend to keep my chats with people light hearted as always, not mentioning the thing until the other one brings it up, and even then I tend to divert the conversation to another subject.

I do my own research and will only begrudging , after a rational and logical progression of understanding, assign authorship or authority to anyone.

Time will tell. Let’s revisit in a month.

If I’m in error, I’ll admit it.

However data is data and the evidence is mounting. My bet is that your post will not age well.
