Metoo, fat chicks galore, chads monopolizing the limited selection of hot girls, divorce rape, it seems like nothing but black pills abound.

Guys are turning to various forms of addiction to cope: marijuana, alcohol, opioids, video games, porn, sex dolls, internet addiction, tv, junk food via home delivery, religion, blackpill/mgtow obsession and so on.

Is there anyone who can cope with reality any longer? Can anyone stand up to the real world without an addiction or two or three or four or five or more?

How do you do it?

Just play the game. F uck the clicks that make your d ick wet. When it comes time to move on, move on. Cope? Simple. Find your purpose in life and build towards it. Work on yourself. As for the vices you've mentioned, those are choices. YOU chose what you want to do with your time. Nothing wrong with having a little fund or doing the knuckle shuffle on your piss pump; as long as it doesn't interfere with your day to day life, you'll be okay.

I keep saying I want to do a media fast or at least cut back on media consumption. So I kinda sorta did that by checking out a local meetup for young adults 20's and 30's. Nearly 40 people already rsvp'ed for a friday evening bar crawl.

EVERY LAST CHICK is fat! All of them! Not a single exception. Why bother going out for several hours to meet chicks I know are subpar? This is the type of dilemma we are forced to deal with. Even if you want to be a social person, the choices are so sh-tty, it's like why bother?

Keep in mind, I live in a state with below the national average in obesity. WTF is it like in states that are above average?!? A popular event can't even turn out a single decent looking girl.

How fat? Like 20LBS - 30LBS or like hippos? 20-30 LBS still f uckable and better than your hand; assuming they are at least attractive. Meetups around here have some decent ladies.

Just one poster replying to this thread that's already doing well with women and now we are veering to a narrative about fat women, similar to biggoal's threads. This thread just nosedived.

Dude, the only reason why you (claim) you are not doing well with the ladies is because you do not believe in yourself. If you (and many others) believed in yourself (or themselves), you can all have some fun with the ladies.

As for my reply, I do not think ladies should be thrown to the side if they are a little overweight, but attractive. Sex with a lady who's a little overweight is better than no sex at all. At least, that;s how I see it.

Then why not frequent the type of events that generally feature more in-shape women? A bar crawl seems counterintuitive if you’re going for skinny chicks. I’d look into fitness oriented activities instead. Yoga, running, etc.

I've often thought of the pleasure of giving up entire media. I haven't voluntarily watched any new TV programming since 1988.

Unfortunately, social media has basically sucked nearly everyone in. Not that I'm a fan of consumerism, but even that media aspect (ordering on line) has kept people more home-contained. If you go out to a social type area, there's a good chance that you'll be cold approaching someone looking at their phone or laptop.

In other words, even if we attempt to live media free, we are faced with nearly everyone else that isn't.

Ever thought of starting your own meetup? Back when I had more time, I did this. It's not a bad gig.
Look at the most interesting women on meetup. Find a common interest among these particular women and start a group that combines their varied interests or one that is just alluring, but slightly different from the others.

As to using drugs and other things as an escape. I mostly agree.
We do the same thing when we log on to this site. It's a way to take our mind off of things.. no different than listening to music.

Some drugs, however aren't necessarily an "escape." For instance; although LSD can be used as a recreational drug, this can also be a tool to work on oneself and improve (broadening self-awareness that we may not otherwise notice). If you've never tried it, I wouldn't expect you to defend it. I haven't "tripped" in over thirty years, but I'm more cognizant of things as a result. And for those reading, I'm not advocating drug use. It's not for everybody.

Of course, be yourself and be confident! We've all heard that before (roll-eyes). Its advice like that is why the red-pill and game took off the mid-00s in the first place because that doesn't really say anything. Now that we are post-red pill/black pill that sounds like a fossil.

The question would be then.. Why aren't you confident? I never said be yourself. If you are not confident in yourself, then being yourself would be redundant. For most people, it's in their head. Why? Well, if you are healthy and do not have a major medical or chronic condition, there is no reason why you cannot be a rockstar and succeed in achieving your goals and dreams.

So, again, I ask.. Why are you not confident in yourself? What's holding you back?

Yeah, don't really seek escape with anything, except for what what I would call "immersive-TV" set-ups. Since 2017 I've modernized from a 4:3 computer screen to an HD 16:9 58 inch screen (which is outdated today) and have a HD-projector, as well as Tablets/smartphones, and view video and written reviews of movies and TV-shows and watch tonnes of documentaries, movies, and TV-programming of sorts programming and have subscriptions all over the place. The only thing that keeps this all in check from becoming an addiction is my faith in God and the values that prevent anything from becoming an "idol" in and of itself. If God told me to stop everything (ie full stop) or used someone to tell me that, then this would all end within a second.

Since 1988, I loved the 16mm projector, loved taking a reel of 16 mm film, loading it in the projector, and watch one reel full of film move slowly while the empty reel at the back of the projector moved faster and see one reel empty and the back reel fill up while a nice 4:3 image (better than 4 K quality today) would be projected on a screen/wall. I borrowed lots of 16 mm film from the library back then when I was a kid. This thing ended in around 1992. 2017 is seen as the spiritual continuation of this in the modern era of streaming and Blu-rays, but like all phases, eventually this too will come to an end. I don't know how, but all phases normally do. Modern movie-quality the way I've set it up is simply very immersive and brings you right into it. I've lost interest in visiting real cinemas (unless there is a must-see movie like Avengers's End Game).

Don't care about video-games, drugs, or anything else you mentioned apart from religion and this.

That's cool. What makes you happy and brings you solace in life is religion and film. Why not explore the both with other people? Have you considered joining a meetup or local group for both to expand on your talents and passions?

How do you do it?
How do I cope?
How do I cope with all the beauty this life has to offer? Is that really what you're asking me?

Metoo, I don't give a fvck.
Fat chicks, I don't give a fvck.
Chads are not stealing MY women.
Divorce rape? Thank God I'm not living in Amurrica.

Why see only the empty half of the glass?

P.S. Not sure why you put religion as an addiction. MGTOW also not an addiction, even tho I don't agree with it.

Life is great, with its ups and downs.

I tried meet-up groups back in 2013 and I can tell you that most of the time it's usually a sausage fest with women taken or being more into the organizers of the meet-ups who have default alpha male status because they are in charge of the meet-up. Earlier in 2009, I did a meet-up with some singles 30s-40s group, and watched the Star Wars reboot when it came out in the cinema on the opening weekend with the group.

My experience of visiting a cinema with a meet-up group is almost the same as going to the cinema solo without a meet-up group. Everyone is a stranger in the group. If I want to just go to a cinema by myself then I'm sure there are going to be women in the cinema you could just approach and casually talk to and see if they can recommend a movie or ask what movie they've seen to start a conversation.

Christian social meet-up groups were sought in 2014. By this time the singles group of 2009 I played around with had long dismantled and there was a break-up in 2012 which had a nasty fall-out in 2013 for the most part. I was dealing with meet-up groups I believe late 2013 and early 2014 before I met my ex-wife. This time the meet-up groups consisted mainly of women but where I was the only guy in the group.

One of the reasons I am how I am today is that I can't really pick up or connect with women from these meet-ups or Christian groups. This goes back to the early 00s even, and even mid-00s and I can say that my experience is sort of sad in the sense that I never got any real interest from any woman beyond the four walls of the group.

This is where I go back again and suggest your advice doesn't fit into other people's realities and comes across as a bit off. I wasn't born yesterday and if there has been socially toxic experiences or feedback in the past two decades then there is no new ground to cover.

Speed-dating, tried it, no luck. Christian socials/groups, tried it, no luck. Online dating, got lucky here and there but it's too one-off/isolated to mean anything. Meet-up groups, tried it as well, like I said, either it's a sausage fest, you have an alpha male group organizer where you feel ignored by the women in the group, cinema meet-ups, almost like going solo since you are still dealing with strangers.

From what I hear for the worst? You did not even have the term Blackpill before. What was an isolated issue for me has become a popular social trend. This church has some social activities.
