I did go to college, graduated from University of Delaware with a degree in Behavioral Health & Nutrition, which I believe was a B.S., I did take a class of Python for programming and absolutely HATED it. I admit I have a better understanding NOW, but still. The idea I had with my major was going to be making money through personal trainer. Hated that, people flake, have really ridiculous hours to meet them, and generally see health and fitness as a luxury rather than a necessity.

What I'd really like to do is something where I can get paid to be in shape and be outgoing. That's why I wanted to model, and hopefully have that lead to acting in some capacity. I'm a pretty good dancer and have been in Halloween shows at this Atlantic City hotel to serve as eye candy. Like being a stripper would not be out of the question for me if it means making decent money.

I just really want to be able to live life. I want to go to Los Angeles or something and just be able to enjoy being around all these beautiful women I see all over Instagram instead of having to find those 1 or 2 cute girls hidden in the sea of dudes and cows at the bar.
You can always make good $$$ as a male striper if you have that type of body. Though, expect to be on Pornhub and have pics all over the net of you in your g-string. There is no simple way to live financially free. It takes hard work, sleepless nights and dedication. Anything worth doing is not easy. However, if you learn Python or whatever the mobile app programming language is, you can make a mint. I know several in NYC/Westchester NY that have. I am not a programmer, never was, so I just did what I am good at. I also kept my costs low and lived a minimalist lifestyle. If you want to live in the Instagram world (mostly fake btw - https://www.theregister.co.uk/2020/02/18/instagram_bali_ikea/), that's going to cost a lot of $$$. Yea, you'll live the life, but the cost you will pay may be severe (financially) in the end.

I can understand that, but surely there's some material more geared to total novices that would hash out the basics? I feel like if I were to search "how to learn daytrading" right now on Google, most of my results would be from gurus trying to sell me on a system.
If it were easy everyone would be doing it. It's like books or videos on anything, you'll probably get valuable nuggets from everyone. Start with everything you can find for free. That'll give you book suggestions and all the insight you need. The reason all those 'gurus' exist is because the majority of people want all the hard work to be done for them, to follow a simple 5 step plan for profitability, just like you want. There is no magic bullet. We adapt to the market and keep adapting.

I don’t want to live the fake happy Instagram life. I just want to be able to buy nicer versions of things I already enjoy and not have to worry about expenses. Living somewhere like LA is just a dream to me because I’m girl crazy and would love to be surrounded by these women everywhere rather than have to really go out looking for them.

Just out of curiosity, if you have friends that made as much as they make daytrading, have you ever tried learning from them?

Certainly possible, but you need to find the secret key to unlock that reward. Unless you come from a very rich family or are a Greek God in terms of looks, it will be hard. You need to look at yourself and see what do I excel in?

Have you daytraded before? Do you know how to play momentum stocks? It's not as easy as you may think.

Sure I have. But my tolerance for stress and risk is no where near as refined as theirs. I've learned what I can but a lot of what they implement is virtually useless to me because it doesn't compliment my strengths and some stuff even magnifies my weaknesses. You have to trade your own risk profile and your own ideas, otherwise you won't grow as a trader.

Thing is I don't really know how to monetize the things I excel in.

Being good at video games? I could stream but those guys took years and got lucky to make it to where they are now.

Being good at banging women? I could try being a dating coach or something but I'm sure there are plenty of guys way better than me in terms of lay counts.

Being big into fitness? I already tried training clients and hated that, my current trainer wants to get me prepped for bodybuilding competitions, but there's no real money in that...that would be supplement sponsorships and likely require me to be on the massive steroid level of athlete.

Apparently I'm a decent writer, but I'm not even gonna pretend I know the first thing about that process or how to become a legitimately decent author.

I don't know, I just have a desire to be financially independent but a lack of knowledge about where to focus my efforts.

Pro Poker
Any personal experience on the matter?

I had a friend give me a gambling guide from an anonymous pit boss as the author that he's used to great effect. Maybe I'll bother looking through that. This seems like an unlikely road to travel though.

I'd be willing to learn. I'm good with numbers to the point of being able to look at them objectively once I understand them, but I was by no means a math whiz.
Play around with some paper trading for a few months.

You need to learn chart channels, bollinger bands, resistance, and breakthroughs.

Honestly there's hardly any math unless you want to be an algo trader. There's a LOT of psychology and game theory.

You have this weird idea that one venture should just work and the progress should be linear and proportional to effort. But reality is the exact opposite, so it's best to have multiple side hustles if you can. The more streams of income the less you're dependent on one of them, and in turn the more leverage and confidence you have with any of them. Put your eggs in multiple baskets and manage your time appropriately.

You may study trading for years and never make money or you could make a million your first year, you won't know til you try. Just keep trying stuff, being pragmatic, and over time you'll find things that are profitable and enjoyable.

Men frequently err by talking too much. They often monopolize conversations, droning on and on about topics that bore women to tears. They think they're impressing the women when, in reality, they're depressing the women.

I don't necessarily think it has to be ONE revenue stream, I just need one to start with because I'm not in a good place.

I'm 25 living with my parents working part-time at a gym in the hopes that my agency will get its thumb out its ass and get me a gig.

My absolute last resort is getting a flight attendant job, but I'm really looking for alternatives, so long as they're worth the effort.

I want to know, either. 2 days ago, i applied for a part-time job. And then I quit soon. That's was a teacher job, actually i am afraid of speaking in front of people, especially when i speak to strangers for the first time. I always does not well. That makes me frustrated. Well, many jobs need good communication. I don't know where is the bright way to me.

Some of the posters on here suggested learning a programming language and then selling your services as a developer. Though, there's a lot of money in this field and the only real barrier is sweat equity, I highly suggest not doing it.

The realistic ramp up time before you start seeing an income is pretty long. From my experience it took roughly about 4 years from my first interview to landing a junior dev role. Though, I'm making serious money now, the return on investment isn't going to fit what you're goals are. And the reason it took so long to get to that point is because programming is hard and this is especially true if you're not very curious nor have a strange fetish for headaches.

Also the female talent is pretty sparse, actually non-existent. Yeah, there are exceptions but in this space, the better looking women tend to be in visually driven role or more on the organizational side that involves leadership.

On the other hand, I wouldn't completely disregard programming as a potential way to make cash money. You can use it to enhance whatever work you're doing so you can make more money. Therefore, I would instead see it as a tool instead of a potential revenue source.

25 years old, currently living at home working part-time at my local fitness center to pay the bills.

I got down to really stringent body measurements to do modeling...my agency hasn't found me any gigs and I'm almost halfway through my contract.

I started a business to sell Facebook Ad Clickfunnel services to small local business...they don't see the value and think I'm overpriced.

I started trying to learn dropshipping since I already understood Facebook Ads...coronavirus hits China and disrupts AliExpress and Silkroad orders.

I don't really want to work the typical careers everybody surrenders to. I want to end up living somewhere warm with pretty women; somewhere like Florida, California, Arizona...anything that isn't Delaware really.

Anybody happen to find a good formula for this?
at 25 you should have at least full time job , if you are lazy enought to not have a full time job, you will never be a self made millionaire because that require far more hard working.
if you keep looking for easy ways to make a lot of money you will fail flat.
so here is ROI of some of usuall ways people invest their money :
  • Stock /Bonds : 1- 12 %
  • Realestate /rental : 5 -20%
  • Starting your own business : 30 - 3000%
now keep in mind it could be all the above in negative.
Now from what we see, starting a successful business is what will make you make the most, however keep in mind a small portion of business owners really are happy and rich , many of them they are either living on edge, loosing money, or making 1X - 2X what average salary can make. However socially seem more value to say you own gas station than being employee, even if the employee in the end making more than what the gas station is making.

Well, don't move to SWFL if you move to FL. Oldest median age in the state. Move to the Tampa area or Southeast Florida if you want women. Even Orlando.
